Denim Days

The weathermen were such liars this weekend, they said it was going to warm up. It did not at all. And it snowed again this morning. I'm so tired of the cold, and in some form of rebellion, I wore the same jeans all weekend.

Everything just seems so much harder to do when it's cold. Outfit photos included. I want to go on a vacation to somewhere warm and tropical. Actually, first I want to buy that $700 wide angle lens for my camera I've been pining for, then I want to go on vacation. I want to see bright orange sunsets fade into purple, framed by the silhouettes of palm trees. I want to dig my bare toes into the white sand of a warm beach. I want to be on a boat in the sea, where the cool breezes are welcome feeling, whipping the heat of the sun off my forehead.

Snow is very pretty and snow is very nice, but looking at it is just making me sad. I've had my fill. On the plus side, only THREE more weeks until daylight savings time, which means I only have to take outfit photos on the weekends two more times.

In sort of a mini theme week, three of my outfits are inspired by my dreams of a tropical getaway, the sun, the surf and the sand. So look for those Tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday.

    These jeans are such a good color and fit for you that you could wear them all month and I doubt the weatherman would be mad at you for rebelling. Each look is so different! But I hope it warms up, though I am annoyed that it's warm here because I love to layer...

    I love the Calvin Klein sweater! And I know, it sleeted here today...I thought it was supposed to be in the 50s all week! I guess not. Surely spring will be here soon!

    I'm sorry to hear that it's so cold over there... I wish you could send some of that cold my way because where I live is WAY to hot! So we seem to have opposite problems... hehe

    You look gorgeous in all three outfits. I always feel so inspired and happy when I see what you have pulled together. The bright red scarf of the first outfit looks so pretty. I love the hat paired with the leopard print in the second outfit. And the white coat you are wearing in the third outfit looks so sophisticated on you. Good job!

    Agreed the winter makes everything more miserable and unbearable. On the other hand you look fantastic in jeans which is a plus for the horrid weather.

    Haha your weekends outfits are better than mine...Most of the time it was pjs except the 2 times I went shopping...then I just threw on jeans and a sweater

    I, too, am so over over over this winter. It's not even the end of February, so I've probably got another month and a half to go yet. Or more. I'm tired of wearing my snow boots and carting my good shoes everywhere. I'm tired of my lenses (eyeglasses and camera) fogging up whenever I walk inside. I'm tired of scraping off my windshield. I'm tired of slipping and falling. I'm tired of being cold and wet.
    Enough of my rant. Can't wait for your vacation dream-inspired outfits!
