Strawberry Shortcake

Over the weekend was my town's annual festival, the highlight of which, is the the strawberry shortcake. Since it's raining out, and I don't feel like writing about rainy photos again, I decided to post these insead.

No shortcake can compare, year after year... it is simply the best. Having it marks the beginning of the summer -- it represents everything you hope the summer will be; bright, sweet and leaving you wanting more!

    Thanks for sharing! Now I'm craving a straberry shortcake... When I lived Michigan, a little town 10 minutes away used to have a Strwaberry Festival where they also sold amazing shortcakes. By the way, your necklace is so pretty.

    you were dressed so perfectfly for it :) i love all the different festivals that towns put on! my hometowns is the popcorn festival since there is an orville redenbacher factory nearby (i think i misspelled that probably!)
