We walked down to the docks by The Lobster Shack. People rave about this place. The other day I was stuck behind a car going two miles an hour with out of state plates and my Sister says, "They are looking for the damn Lobster Shack. I guarantee they are." Sure enough, they spotted the sign and turned in. I don't get the allure of a food cart in a boat yard, but to each their own.

These photos are great!
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one. That's a fun angle.
And I'm totally jealous of all that wonderfully thick hair! I'm sure it drives you batty sometimes, but it is a beautiful thing - especially in the breeze!
Love your brother's photos. I am always so so so grateful when I'm with my sister and she can take mine. It is somehow so much less humiliating than setting up a tripod and taking my own!
ReplyDeleteAnd, cheers to your friend's return! That's wonderful!
So summery!
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots, props to your brother!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing, loooove your shorts, shirt, heels, everything! :) xx
ReplyDeleteThese photos are amazing! Having a "real" photographer definitely helps! Also, I loved the interview at Smashion Lounge - kind of jealous that you got stuck in Europe for a week :)

Some of the most delicious foods come from carts/trucks, etc. Anything with "lobster" in the name sparks my interest. Mail me some?
ReplyDeleteLooove this outfit! That top is so awesome (woohoo purple)
ReplyDelete(and yea I LOVE my booties, they've been in constant rotation for a year so I've definitely gotten my $20 worth :) )

Your brother took great photos! Reading your blog always wants me to learn more about photography--my knowledge is limited, to say the least. I love the fun way you styled your scalloped shorts--that knotted blouse gives them a bit of a retro feel that I love!

ReplyDeleteThose scalloped shorts are perfect, love them! And your photographer did a lovely job :)
ReplyDeleteYour brother did a great job. Every picture came out beautiful and I love your blouse and those scallop shorts. I don't understand food carts either, but anything with seafood might get my attention. ha ha :)
ReplyDeleteYay you got a friend to pose with you! Sometimes I wish I had a competent photographer too, I'm sure my photos would come out so good. You look very modern and 1950s-inspired at the same time... this outfit reminds me of photos I once saw of Marilyn Monroe in high waisted shorts and a blouse tied like that!
