The earrings are handmade in Boston from vintage Swarovski crystals and set in sterling silver. They come in every color you can think of, and are only $30.
I truly love being able to support local (well, in New England) designers who make their jewelry here in the United States, rather than outsourcing overseas.
I am so happy with these earrings, and I'm already thinking I should add this emerald pair to my collection, I do need to be trendy for 2013.
I'm thankful my friend introduced me to this designer, and now I hope you will be too!

Shopping from local and/or independent designers has become a lot more important to me in the last six months - but there are so many out there, it's impossible for me to discover them all on my own. Thanks for sharing this one, the earrings your friend gifted you are absolutely gorgeous. The colour seems to leap right out the photos! Speaking of the photos, I love the location where you shot them - there's something really quaint and romantic about it :)
