Red is stunning on you! I can't believe how fast the summer went. It was 55 degrees this morning and it really felt like fall which I'm not too happy about. :(

Yep, it's sad that summer is on it's way out. Usually when I leave my parents at 8 on Thursdays it's still perfectly light, it was dark yesterday...NOOO!!!!

It's such a bummer to think that fall is right around the corner. That red dress is quite fabulous and the color is totally gorgeous on you! Hope you get to wear it again before summer ends.

I don't know what happened to summer... although it's still holding in the mid-60s at night here.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think that fashion week will be a sweltering mess again. Ugh!
I think you could do this dress for fall! It's such a brilliant color.
I have the same feelings!!! My kids started school yesterday. It seems like they just got out! I don't want to say goodbye to summer!!! I don't even miss my boots/tights/coats yet enough for this. I adore this dress on you Lydia. The zipper, the texture, the color--all perfect on you!
ReplyDeleteReally nice red dress! :)

I know, I was so excited about dress weather and then it was gone. I couldn't believe. I'm still waiting and hoping that I will have a chance to wear my dresses, because at the moment it's gloomy, windy and doesn't look at all like summer.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful in that gorgeous dress.

If it's any consolation, I think that will make a wicked fall dress! Something tells me you and I are about to switch seasonal complaints...ha ha ha.

It's been unseasonably cool in my area but we've had some hot and humid days most summer! I'm ready for Fall.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress, looks great on you!
I am so ready for fall. But I live in Louisiana where the summers are so miserable. I love your red dress!

It must be true that opposites attract, because I admire you and your style so much but we are so different :) These last days of summer are some of my favourites of the year... the cool morning air and sunsets when I'm still outside, sweaters at night... what can I say, I'm a fall girl at heart :) It is a shame you've only had two chances to wear this dress, though, because it's gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
It got suddenly cool today, so I feel ya! But I'm not going to complain because 70 degrees here is much better than the usual 90 or 95 we're battered with in the summer. But 40 degrees at night? That's ridiculous! I hope you can get some kind of taste of summer soon, Miss Lyddie!
ReplyDeleteThis dress might be my favorite dress of yours. That color is stunning on you (is this the orange one that photographs red?). I love your anchor belt with it, too. You're lookin' like one stylish pirate lady!
Amazing dress and outfit! Summer will return before the end of August, don't worry.
ReplyDeleteWow, this dress looks amazing on you, such a radiant colour. I can see it as a great versatile piece too! xx/Madison
ReplyDelete'Lady in Red' :)
ReplyDeleteI love your woven bag!
It has been such a weird summer weather wise...it is way too cold at night! You are stunning in red!
ReplyDeleteLol. The weather has been quite off this "summer". I LOVE this red dress on you. Such a vibrant color!

What a beautiful dress!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's dipping to the 40's where you are!! That's downright cold! I'll stop complaining about the low 60's we're having at night!
The color and texture of it is so pretty. I love red paired with brown. So pretty! I can't believe Summer is ending already either. HAHAHA I'll have to cram some things in.

The lady in red! oh man, you look absolutely stunning in this red number. It's a pity that you only got to wear it twice. It looks like a dress that can be transitioned into fall / winter easily though ^^xo
