Coupons which promise entirely free things are the best. Any discount 25% and above (depending on the store) can often elicit a visit from me. Typically, stores which somehow have all your personal information, even if you don't remember giving it to them, will send out special offers during your birthday month.
Such was the case with Sunglass Hut. I rarely shop there, and seldom even browse, but they sent me a coupon for $20 off any purchase during my birthday month. I was doing so well at avoiding the temptation, but when I was at the Clinton Crossing Outlets, on the day the coupon was expiring, I could not help but go in.
Then I saw the most perfect pair of sunglasses.

I sometimes think that stores share information specifically for the purpose of sending out seasonal and birthday coupons that will lure you in to spend money - I'm sure it's not really that big a conspiracy, but as someone with a smallish bank balance, it often feels that way. (And it only gets worse when you have a blog and are inundated with emails about all the latest and greatest trends.) Still, it's a good thing you stopped off at the Sunglass Hut, because you're right - those sunglasses really are perfect on you, especially the colour. And they work so well with this outfit, especially the dress, which I absolutely adore.

Grocery-wise I suck at couponing. Clothing-wise I am a total sucker for Kohl's cash, coupons, gift cards, etc. LOL I don't know why . . . .

Coupons definitely work on me! So I hope stores keep sending them! Those sunglasses are adorable on you!
ReplyDeleteI find extra coupons and discounts are just too enticing - I can never say no either! :) I tend to prefer ones I can use online though, isn't always easy for me to get to a store, and often they just expire as I never get around to using them.
ReplyDeleteOn an outfit note, I like that leopard print dress with the khaki jacket :) Nice colour combination.
