Saving with Splender

Far be it from me to deny that I'm a shopping addict, but truly; I am a bargain shopping addict. In all its forms, ultimately I'm not happy unless I'm getting a deal.

It's a force of habit now that before making any online shopping purchases I check for coupon codes, but now that I've signed up for Splender, not only do I get to take advantage of coupon codes, but I get cash back on every purchase I make. I love the ease of finding coupons and deals at Splender, it's a clean, ad-free site, so no worries about getting some shifty re-direct when searching for a coupon code. Encompassing over 800 stores, any store I could think of to shop at, I found at Splender, plus it's completely free to sign up and use.

Even though we are into August already, there were still some fun summer trends I've been itching to try, and with the Nordstrom anniversary sale going on, it seemed like the perfect time to take the plunge and get a pair of culottes and a crop top.

What I love about these pieces is how I made them work for my body and my comfort zone. I am not too keen on showing much of my midriff, and I feel like cuts of pants and skirts that fall below my knees make me look short. However, I found these Leith high waisted culottes and paired them with the crop top to create a silhouette that both elongated and wasn't too revealing.

The culottes (now $62) were part of the Nordstrom anniversary sale and were marked down to $39.90, while the crop top was $48 (now $28.80), but because I clicked through with Splender, I received an incredible 7% cash back, which means that over $7 is coming back to me! Getting cash back from Splendor is as simple as going to their site, searching for the store you want to shop at, clicking through and making a purchase like normal. Splendor uses cookies to track your purchases, so you do need to have them enabled.
