Easily swayed

I spotted two other bloggers wearing this maxi dress, and when I found out it was only $26, I had no choice but to throw it in my cart! I was very anxious to wear it, but it was way too long to wear with flats so I got creative and folded it up at the waist line and secured it with the belt. It held up surprising well throughout the day.

So happy for another weekend - the weather has been glorious lately and I hate not getting to enjoy it be stuck in an office all day.

    I love the idea of maxi dresses but all the required tailoring and/or creating fastening seems like way too much work and in the end, I just give up. I'm wearing one today on my blog that I didn't bother to tailor and so of course the hem is filthy because I wore it with flats, anyway. So silly. I clearly need to stick to living vicariously through other people who take better care of their lovely maxi dresses - this one is so gorgeous, I love the cut!

    I would have been all over the dress too - and I think you sort of picked the perfect belt to pair it with. It's like a floral/nautical mash up and I love it.

    Gorgeous dress! $26 well spent I think. Very creative to fold the waist and add the belt too, to make it work without hemming (yay for no-sew solutions!).

    That is such a gorgeous dress, and what a great price! No wonder you had to have it. It looks lovely belted too.

    Unfortunately I'm without an affordable tailor at the moment, or I'd be adding it to my cart, haha!
