The weekend felt fall like here, too - I actually got out both a scarf and a jacket, and while I was happy to see both pieces again, I was sorry to actually need to wear them, rather than wearing them because I wanted to. I'm hoping that we'll get one last gasp of good weather before summer is gone for good, but like every year, the season is so fleeting. If nothing else, you've worn all kinds of lovely outfits this season, and this has to be one of my favourites. The off the shoulder top and lace-up sandals are fabulous!

I am loving your look Lydia, so simple yet sophisticated and chic. The weather was cool in the DC area as well and my little girl was so bummed she didn't get to hang out at the pool for a few more days.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend the mornings feel like fall but the afternoons definitely felt like summer so I was like I'm not even going to try and dress for this! I ended up wearing definitely not chic-loungewear this weekend!

Such a pretty look! I love the neckline of that top!
ReplyDeleteAnd yea, I liked the weather this weekend though, but then again I love Fall, haha!

That skirt is an amazing thrift find. Love the black and cognac.

I'm trying to enjoy the last bit of warm weather. I love the spotted skirt.

Great black and white look. I love that you added nude shoes. So sophisticated
ReplyDeleteLove this black & white combo and that top is perfect on you.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was rainy as can be for me !
ReplyDeleteThis thrifted skirt was such a great find. On the bright side, now that fall is coming you can wear it with black tights and a black turtleneck.
You can't go wrong with a classic black and white! Love the cognac accessories you added!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely felt like fall here this weekend too, and I'm not ready for the summer to end quite yet! Loving that skirt!

It was definitely chilly and fall-like here too (which I loved, of course!). I am noticing that it's getting dark a bit earlier though, which is always my biggest complaint about this time of year.

It's always hard to say bye to summer but it isn't over yet! Enjoy warm weather outfits for a while longer!
ReplyDeletethis look is gorgeous and i'm in love with the skirt!

So in love with your skirt, you look amazing! I think this weekend is supposed to be hot again...last weekend was such a bummer weather wise.
ReplyDeleteHow fab do you look! I am obsessed with this skirt on you so chic! Happy Wednesday!

Totally agree... I am looking forward Friday already, too! Our secret. ;) I saw you were on the fence about these heels but love how it lightens up this look compared to a black heel during this time of year. Really pretty!

I'm excited for fall but sad for less daylight :-(. Love this bag, though - the tan and red lining is so pretty!

This summer has sped by for me too. I feel like I've done a lot of fun things, but not as much as I wanted, as always. I love this pretty look--the spotted skirt is so fun and those lace-up sandals are gorgeous!!
