I perhaps foolishly went into Old Navy a few days before Thanksgiving to take advantage of half off the entire store and buy some Christmas gifts. Naturally the first thing I see is something for myself. This print immediately stood out to me when I spied it on a display and went to hunt it down. I decided I suddenly needed something new for Thanksgiving and justified the blouse as well as a pair of velvet pants. They were half off after all. Plus I even managed to get one Christmas gift.
Such a fun top! I like that there are brights mixed in with the darks! And I made that mistake last night. I saw a gift that would be perfect for a friend and decided to check out the sale section of that store and wound up buying myself a jumpsuit...but it was $30 down from $375....sooooo http://www.closet-fashionista.com/
I fall into that trap too, Lydia!! I even saw the velvet pants at Old Navy the last time I was there, but I wasn't sure how they'd hold up over time. Silly me, I should've bought them!! I do love this top because the colors are so vibrant!! jodie www.jtouchofstyle.com
The colours in this print are incredibly vibrant, it's not a wonder it caught your eye! I'm not a colour girl at all but I think it would have caught mine, too - in these photos, the print seems to jump right out of the frame. And I am definitely guilty of Christmas shopping the way you've just described. I feel like every time I bring home something for someone else, I come home with something new for myself, too...! xox, Cee
It is such a lovely print and I like that it has vibrant colours in it--bright and beautiful for dark winter months. x/Madison http://fashiontslesblog.com
Love this top on you and the colors are right up my alley. I do not know another gal that would walk into a store with everything half of and not buy herself something. Happy Holidays!
I can see why you fell in love with this top. The print is fabulous and I am drooling over that suede crossbody bag. xo, Whitney and Blaire Peaches In A Pod
What a beautiful top, I can see why you had to have it. I do the same thing too - I see something for my friends and then end up getting myself a little something too! Doesn't help that we all have such similar tastes haha!
