Ten lovely branches

I'm counting down to christmas with my twelve favorite things; today is all about that bit of evergreen we display in our living rooms. I simply adore the scent of a fresh cut tree, and once it's covered in lights, what is more majestic?

Sometimes I look into my close and think there isn't a thing in there to wear. I pull out a few things and am just not liking anything. The last time that happened, I pulled out the leopard pencil skirt and it was a success. So I decided to try it again and behold; Success!!

Don't change my spots

This is the Banana Republic sweater I thrifted last week, and I think it was $2.50 well spent. The condition is perfect and it fills a pale pink void in my closet. There was a time I adored pastels. Then I hated them and got rid of them all. Now I might be warming up to them again.

Don't change my spots

For the No Repeats Challenge, the item I haven't worn in a long time are the shoes. Last seen in January. That's pretty bad. Though, they aren't exceptionally comfortable, so I've been avoiding them for a reason.

Trim the tree

I was putting the lights on the tree when I suddenly thought about how great some fisheye shots would be, so I ran to switch up my lens and I love the results!

  2. Wow, those trees are beautiful! I'd love to have a real tree, but I'm not sure how that would work in my apartment.

I like today's outfit - the top looks very springy, but the print of the skirt and dark tights and shoes make it good for winter. It's too bad the shoes aren't more comfy - they're so cute!

  3. oh your puppy is so cute, and you look great, that skirt is very nice and fits you like a glove, I'm not a fan of pastels as but like you I still long for something pale pink to make it into my closet.

  6. I am so with you on filling the pale pink closet void. That sweater is divine - what a find!!

Now about the tree...uh Lyddie I am going in after I leave a few comments and I may not post tomorrow b/c I need to get that thing working once and for all. You may hear me screaming all the way from SoCal.

Too bad you didn't live next door because a fish eye of me trying not to strangle myself with the lights that turn off and on could actually be mildly hilarious.

    You have amazing camera skills!!

  8. I love leopard print and purple together! The sweater is pale pink, you say? It appears more ivory to me, but then again, this is on a computer, not IRL.
    I love the fish-eye photos!! :)

I need to do this no repeats challenge of yours.. but it gets hard to do when I only have a certain number of skirts and dresses that are school appropriate. xD I dress like such a whore. D: D: kidding. Only sometimes.

So I really love your purple pink scarf. :D It is quite adorable with your leopard skirt.
