Since I was able to pay for them using only funds in my paypal account, they are magically exempt from the budget. I justify this logic because the money isn't coming out of my bank account or appearing on my credit card statement, so it's like it doesn't count.
Today I went to a few church fairs, and spent $10 on possibly vintage jewelry that is possibly going to be given as gifts. But I think I bought it more because I liked it and not because I thought "So-and-so would totally LOVE this piece!" But I'm still telling myself I bought gifts right now.
Tomorrow I'm going to New York City, too see the Radio City Christmas Show and the city dressed in holiday style.
It took me about a million years to decide what to wear. It's just hard when you need to be warm, comfortable, and chic!

I love the leopard print with the red! And those boots are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is great! Someone commented on a red dress that I posted saying that I should try it with leopard print (which I sadly don't own), so it's cool to see that combo played out :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun in NYC!
I look terrible in red. I'm so jealous! You look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI love the shape of your skirt! Leopard and red is so fierce and I don't think I've ever seen red tights with such a low denier, they are so chic!
ReplyDeleteUm, your justifications sound JUST LIKE my justifications! I am also IN LOVE with your boots. Seriously, those are awesome. Your tights are cute too--you are inspiring me to grab some bright red tights for the winter! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look seriously chic, lady! I'm in desperate need of a leopard-print sweater, though I'm looking into getting a cardigan. Great boots, too! I totally agree with your logic :)

ReplyDeleteWarm, comfortable and chic ...!
What a pretty skirt, I hope you have fun in NY.
Oh, how I wish I was there :)
P.S. Chloe as usual is a darling .
Those boots are awesome!! I think of paypal the same way - if it doesn't go on a card or come from the bank, it's free money.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad they fit you well and that they are in a new home that will give them a lot more wear! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic, as always!
btw- thanks for the shout out! :)
Love love love the look ... and the animal print top - sigh, I can't find the right print ... and I'm searching for a scarf as the one I have is too green. Hopefully something will come up as we head into winter in our hemispere. Well done on sticking with the budget Lyddie, it's so hard ;-)
ReplyDeleteleopard and red...just perfect!

Love how you paired the leopard sweater with all the red. those brown boots look so comfy but chic!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this! This is like how I miss I could dress. I need to get over my fear of color. :)

This worked out nicely with the boots! And it definitely doesn't count if the money's from Paypal. BTW, if you use Paypal money to buy WendyB jewelry not only are you not spending, but you're performing a mitzvah by helping a small business ;-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit - I love the leopard print top!! ALso wanted to say thanks for the blogger award! I am so honored that you picked me and I promise I will post my seven things about me as soon as I get some time!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,

YOU'RE SO CUTE. I love how you put those boots with the red tights and red skirt. I'm always afraid to match tights to a skirt but now.. now I want to try this. :D :D Your leopard shirt is pretty, tooooooo. LEOPARDS ARE AWESOME and make wonderful shirt prints.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you got your friends some gifts. ;)
I love everything about this. Red and leopard work so well together, and I love those boots - of course; I've got the Target knock offs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute look! I love the out of budget boots :)
