Daydream in blue

These are one of my favorite pairs of tights - they are just so turquoise! I could have easily thrown on a subtler pair of blue tights today, but I wear those all the time. These were just so much more appropriate for rainbow tights week.

I was about to walk out the door in a pair of boring black pumps when these little blue beauties caught my eye. I almost dismissed them, thinking they'd never look good - but how wrong I was - what perfection!!

I must say that I've loved rainbow tights week, it has veiled some of my favorite outfits this year (you know, topping nine whole days is tough.)

I can also say that I wore my tights free of commentary from anyone. Which either means that I did such a great job of styling them that they didn't seem outlandish or out of place, or that everyone is so desensitized to my bold fashion choices they didn't notice.

    Those turquoise tights are great! I don't think I could pull them off like you do, my favorite outfit has got to be yesterday's green tights, I loved everything about it!

    It might be too hard to pick, but I love the outfit with the pretty pink tights! I really like it against the other neutral colors in the outfit :)

    By the way: Thanks for your advice! I'll definitely have to try that! I hadn't thought of changing that. I also took these pictures a while ago and since then I've learned about setting something as an object of focus and then standing in front of it, which helps. I'm sure your suggestion will make a big difference too! Thanks again!

    Such an unexpected color! I love it! My favorite was the outfit with the mustard-colored tights. I don't have a pair in that shade and it makes me realize how versatile they could be!

    My favorite is yesterday's (the colors and that cardigan!!) but I think this one is a close second. I've loved seeing your tights this week! Maybe sometime soon I'll actually try to wear my pink and yellow ones!
