The Rundown
Skirt, Sweater, and Scarf Gap - Boots Madden Girl - Tights TJMaxx
I'm disappointed that the pattern on these tights does not show up in the full shot, because they are really awesome. I guess when I wear them next I'll have the time to get the right light to capture them. I'm happy to say that I'm finished dog sitting and am back home, and I'm exhausted. Those little dogs made me get up super early every day, even on the weekends they had me up by 7:30. That one reason why I love my dog - she loves to sleep in.
One of the pups I was sitting for. |
I'm also the type person who immediately unpacks upon the arrival home. I say hi to the dog and tell her how much I love her and missed her, and then get right to putting everything put away. The thought of a packed bag filled with dirty laundry bothers me immensely.
I hope your bow scarf trend catches on. I'll do my part!

I wish I had some of your unpacking motivation! I still have a half-filled suitcase sitting in my bedroom from my trip to Florida! (Don't worry, within the first two days I removed my dirty clothes bag and washed everything.)
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to send you an email - but thank you for the Christmas gift! I love the shirt and can't wait until I finally have a tree to decorate and use the ornament. And of course you outdid yourself with your wrapping. Jealous.
Super cute! I will totally help you start the trend of bow scarfs :) Looks great!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, very pretty Lydia.
ReplyDeleteI am also the one who unpacks as soon as I get back on a trip, put stuff that were not worn away and turn that washing machine onnnn!
I totally love this! What a wonderful idea (I so wish something that creative had occurred to me).

I am the WORST at unpacking. It always takes me days, sometimes weeks, to dig through it and do the laundry. I envy your ability to not procrastinate in that unpacking arena!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I very much like the scarf bow. It's super-sweet and girly and fun!
I checked the label on my TJ Maxx sweater (the one I just posted) and it's Willi Smith... ever-present in a Target store near you!
awwww I love the bow scarf! The puppy's sooo cuteeeeeee:))
ReplyDeleteHappy unpackig and thanks for stopping by :)
xx
How adorable is that pup? They must be a handful to look after too. Love the bright and dark blue together
ReplyDeleteI love it! I've done it before several times. Including once exactly a year ago: http://fashionableacademics.blogspot.com/2010/01/channeling-my-inner-coco-i-am-pretty.html

That's a great idea! I wish I had a scarf long and skinny enough to try it!
ReplyDeleteI love the bow idea...and I've said it before, but I'll say it again - you look wonderful in the minty green sweater! I love that color on you!!

I'm definitely the same way about unpacking! I thought it was just me. Or just that I don't have room for a bag/suitcase to be lying around for too long...
ReplyDeleteI've seriously never thought to tie a scarf into a bow. How cute! Beautiful tights too.
I think this is my favorite outfit on you yet! I just love the color with your hair! So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I don't unpack until I realize that I am missing something...which usually takes a month or two :)

I think this will be a thing now, actually. I read somewhere that the 70s are back, and these bows are uber 70s. Looking great. And those tights are to die for!
ReplyDeleteI really love that you tied your scarf in a bow - it kinda reminds me of miu miu? xx
ReplyDeletethat's a really good idea!!!
ReplyDeleteThe bow looks good - I'll definitely be trying that myself. And I agree about the unpacking!
ReplyDeletei tie my scarfs in bows all the tine. i have a post with a bow scarf scheduled today, actually. you're welcome to claim it if you like!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are head-to-toe Gap and yet don't look Gap-like at all to me. Especially with the bow-tied scarf!

The photo of that pup is adorable ... love your tights and bow ... way to go.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep an eye out for a flurry of bow scarfs that will undoubtedly appear in the next week or so :P

I wish I was like you. My suitcase has been known to sit there for weeks before I unpack. I just take the dirty clothes out. HAHA
ReplyDeleteI love how you tied it into a darling bow accent! And your puppy is so adorable.
ReplyDeletewww.TheFancyTeacup.com
much love.
Oh that's cool! I like the bow scarf a lot!! And yes, you will have to wear those tights again soon, I definitely want to see the pattern better. I went to Marshalls the other day to look for some cool tights... but all they had were some HUE two-packs that were missing half the pack and some sad looking sheer red Kate Spade's. Sigh. Guess I missed the after-holiday rush!
ReplyDeleteI heart your big bow! And the color of that sweater is 100% awesome.
