With the original $70 price tag still swinging, and TJMaxx's $15 tag besides it, I had to bring it home.
I'm ignoring the fact that my sister told me it looks like a curtain. She's said far worse about some of the clothes I love.
I always wonder about how things end up in TJMaxx... I've seen their commercials and all; "swooping in for the left overs when designers order too much" ...but it seems odd for Martin + Osa to make an appearance so long after the stores closed. Oh well, I was plenty happy to see it there!

Beautiful blouse, I never find anything nice at TJMaxx. I usually head towards Marshalls or Ross for good prices.
ReplyDeleteOoooh before I forget, I love your necklace and oxfords!! ;)
What a terrific find (and a steal of deal). The Martin + Osa blouse is sure a beauty. And I love the bow detail on your skirt!

On a scale of 1 - looking like a curtain... you certainly don't! I love the colours you paired up here!
ReplyDeleteI have serious love for that skirt - the gathers in the front are so flattering. Yeah, I wonder about TJ Maxx too - makes you wonder how many clothes are sitting around in warehouses! (And why I can't get my hands on them!!)

Everything can look like a curtain on a hanger! it's all about the styling right? ^^ i love this top in you :) x
ReplyDeleteScoreeeee! that is such a pretty top. Hear me, your sister ONE DAY will be borrowing it from you - begging: "Can I please borrow.... " Sit and wait.
ReplyDeleteI am going to say something that may sound as weird but last night I had a dream and you were in it with a guy named Zach. I know, totally odd.
I just bought a shirt of similar cut and I am glad to see how well you have styled it. I was trying to figure out how to wear it without it looking like a tent or curtain. Cute outfit.
ReplyDeleteyou know I have never actually gone inside my local TJ Maxx...i need to make a stop in soon
ReplyDeleteI may have to disagree with your sister. Looks cute! And I LOVE TJ Maxx. It's one of my favorite places to shop.
ReplyDeletePfftt, not curtainy at all. In fact I think its a great soft pattern for spring. Also love the way you toughed it up with the boots. Very cute.
ReplyDelete$15?! wow!!! that's a great deal! :D

Pretty top - and it doesn't resemble curtains in the slightest! I found Martin + Osa sweatpants at my TJMaxx a few months ago - love them! If I had realized how great the clothes were when the store was open, I would have shopped the brand!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blouse. It doesn't look like a curtain at all! It is a shame Martin + Osa closed their doors. Maybe I will head to TJ Maxx to see if they received any Martin + Osa merchandise.
ReplyDeletecute top and looks perfect with the detailing on the skirt.. tell your sister whatever, and ummm when she comes by to borrow it because she sees how good it looks on you, too bad for her!!!

Great find! I love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing find! I absolutely adored Martin & Osa and was devastated when they closed... I'm definitely going to rush out to TJ Maxx the next time I'm south of the border and hope to find a few last pieces from them! The top you found is just gorgeous, I love the combination of lavender and white. And the necklace that you paired it with is just perfection. Lovely look.
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
Holy smokes! You look hot!
ReplyDeleteWell if it's a curtain, then it's one of the prettiest ones I've seen! I love it with that necklace--the colors really compliment each other.
ReplyDeleteGreat blouse! M+O had such cute things before it disappeared. You're so lucky to have found it...I never get such great things when I go to TJMaxx.
ReplyDeleteDespite what your sister says, I think that blouse looks stunning. :) I really like how you paired it with the navy skirt. Totally worth the $15, in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! ... it doesn't look like a curtain at all.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely doesn't look like a curtain! The light cardigan and top definitely make this look springy :) I can't wait for real spring to get its act together.
