Maxied Out

I know that Everybody, Everywhere isn't until tomorrow morning, but I decided that since I do my posts at night, perhaps the timing would be better if I did them the day before.

This time was much harder for me than the others... because I'm really not a maxi person. I definitely do not possess anything of longer lengths that fits into the realm of casual, so I had to do my best to tone down this purple dress.

    Such a pretty skirt!! I love the tulle on the bottom, it was so unexpected as I scrolled down. The leather jacket really offsets the flowy, girly skirt well!

    Lovely, I'm not a maxi person either. You did a great mixing feminine and edgy with the motorcycle jacket. I love the 2 tiers on that dress as well.

    I absolutely adore the second picture (and the outfit, and the hair). I have a similar jacket that I often throw on to tone down overly girly dresses. I'm showing this to my mom to prove that I'm not the only person who does it. :)

    This is a great look! The lavendar with black is a nice contrast (so are the materials - I like the soft flowy dress with the biker jacket. You keep it from getting too "dressy.") Terrific!

    I love your hair like that! Yeah, I really like that dress and the darker ruffle peeping out of the bottom. Way cool with that jacket too! I should have worn a long skirt and sandals today... I decided open toed sandals and tights were a good idea. Soggy feet :(

    This skirt is absolutely gorgeous! And I definitely think it counts as a Maxi. I myself am a little terrified of the maxi, though I really want to try it. I just don't know where to begin. I think I should just throw something on and see if it works!
