Hold out hope

I swear, the sun was really trying to come out today, there was just this bright spot masked by clouds; and while it was still raining during these photos, overall it was a bit warmer and the tiniest bit brighter than yesterday. Maybe tomorrow the rain will stop?
I hope so, because I get so stumped when it comes to getting dressed for the rain. Never mind the fact that I'll be in an office most of the day - what is going on outside directly influences what I feel like wearing inside. Which is most likely pants. What is it about the rain that makes me want to wear jeans?

    When it rains I tend to live in leggings, over-sized sweaters, and rubber boots...it is decidedly un-inspirational. I bought myself a used bike this weekend and it's killing me that I can't ride it because of this weather.

    I've been scared of white jeans forever, but since I started looking at style blogs I think I have to try them! They don't have to look like soccer mom jeans :)

    I have utmost respect for you for wearing white pants on a rainy day! :) I'd probably get some puddle or mud splashes somewhere. But yeah, I agree, I totally watch the news and weather to see what I should be wearing the next day... :)

    Glad to see you're also fighting the weather with sandals and white pants! So many people are back to tights again. I refuse, I'll be in bare legs and skirt tomorrow... but maybe I'll wear boots.

    gosh, I love me some crisp white jeans. they just go beautifully with practically anything. THIS OUTFIT NEEDS RED LIPSTICK THOUGH. (although, i think every outfit needs red lipstick.)

    also, I like to invest in cute umbrellas. (and, by invest, I mean going to h&m or F21 and dropping ten bucks). when my umbrella is cute, I try to make my whole outfit cute to match.

    I definitely know the feeling! I always go for jeans when it rains too, I guess to be comfortable? Or because the weather doesn't warrant me dressing up?

    I have a boot/jacket obsession, so I love a rainy day. Though, I've been thinking about building an ark after the amount of rain we've had lately.

    Rain is tricky for me, too! Usually I just wear the same stuff as ever, but I just look a little foolish and very unprepared! I love the black and white check with the big bold turquoise!
