Instead, I puttered about the yard and tried to find somewhere else ended up getting tons of bug bites... It's going to be a bad summer for bugs and ticks, we've already found three on the dog. (She's got the repellant on her, but they still jump on.)
The first place, light filtered by trees, but shadowy.
The second place, still shadows, but no nice rim light.
The third place, even light, but in the grass which was full of holes and bugs.

Which place do you think has the best light?
The colors are great on you. And I want your clutch! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love how colorful this outfit is!!
ReplyDeleteand ugh...I don't mind most bugs but ticks, mosquitoes and bees can just go away :p

I thought the second one was pretty, but most of all I LOVE THIS OUTFIT ON YOU!!! What great use of color and that skirt and clutch are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe best light I've found is on the side of my house around 5:00! And I loooooove the pink/turquoise combo!
ReplyDeleteI love these colors together! So pretty. The turquoise pieces are so great here. I LOVEEE the shoes and the skirt so much.
ReplyDeleteI like the lighting in the first and third pics. But since you are being bit my bugs in the grass, that probably isn't the best place. I love your clutch!
ReplyDeleteI love the tree location and the way you always add a touch of turquoise to your outfits, I'm learning. =D
ReplyDeletebug bites during outfit pics = story of my summer. I'm dying over here. Love the look though. Glad you got it in the end.
ReplyDeleteI love the gorgeous colors here. The turquoise really stands out.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate the ticks, too. We've discovered them in the field at school. I've told my students not to go near them when they see those bugs because they "suck your blood" and that was a good enough repellant for them. Until when, I don't know. Ick.
Beautiful colors, especially the pops of turquoise!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. It's always such a struggle to obtain the PERFECT pictures. Ah, the tough life of a blogger! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous - that necklace is WAY GORGEOUS. I love that colour.

Oh my goodness. There are days now where I'm outside for maybe ten minutes tops and I've gotten at least three or four bites! Just when I stopped wearing tights! That clutch is pretty amazing, and I love how you paired the pink and turquoise. All the locations are great, but the first one underneath the trees is magical. I just love those big tall shadow-y old trees, so I think that location is awesome! Plus the shadows are really interesting!

Wooo I love that clutch, I think tie dye bags are so cool (especially leather). I have a bug bite that is actually yellow and looks like a huge infection. Not cute, it is definitely going to be a bad year. I actually like the first place best... would flash to fill the shadows blow everything out too much?
ReplyDeleteThe lighting in the last photo looks great! (Wait until you see my awful lighting in tomorrow's outfit post- my bf didn't want to take photos until after 8 pm!) Beautiful colours- I love the turquoise accessories!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is adorable... I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI like the light in the first shot...
ReplyDeleteAnd love the way you accessorize this outfit, the turquoise necklace and clutch, it looks great against the brown and pink...
Love this look, the pink, brown and turquoise look great together and that clutch is fantastic. I like the lighting in the first and last pic.
ReplyDeleteI think the second and third shots had the best light. That's so cute about your indecisiveness :) I really like the cotton candy hues in your outfit, especially that self-made skirt! Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! I think pink and brown go so great together! And the colors on your necklace are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteEach is so pretty. I think I like the second to last best, but it's a tough call. That's a super outfit Lyddie. You really know how to mix it up with ease.
