When I was little, I dreampt of wearing a crown of the blossoms on my head on my wedding day.
When I someday have a home of my own, one of these trees must be in the yard.
They are so bright, and so pretty, every time I see them, I smile. The spring is full of lots of new growth, new flowers and colors, but in my mind, these trees completely steal the show.

ReplyDeleteThere are thousands of these blossom trees here in SF! They're so pretty but our backyard neighbors have one too and it's shedding ALL the petals right into our backyard. It looks like someone threw up thousands of flowers, it's quite annoying but pretty!
yay, you wore the scalloped shorts! i love 'em on you. they look great with that orange paisley top.

Photoshoot adventure? That looks like a new location!... or it's just actually spring now and things are growing. The scallops finally make their debut! I love that everything's mostly neutral, and with the gold jewelry and those nails I feel like you should be having cocktails at a beach club at sunset :)

ReplyDeleteI'm the same way--we took a family vacay to WA DC about 15 years ago (I was in high school), and all I can remember is the blossoming cherry trees. Are those dogwoods in your photo? So super pretty. Same goes for your shirt and those fabdabulous shoes. Love!!
