I now have a new way to keep my camera Desmond dry in the rain - a tupperwear lid. As long as it's not windy, it works like a perfect little umbrella and kept things pretty dry without impairing camera functions the way plastic bags often do.
I really do hate taking photos in the rain, but I will admit, I like what the bright printed umbrella does for the look.
The lace here is actually pretty subtle - just the trim on the sleeves.
And what is this? A new bit of turquoise jewelry to add to my collection? Oh yes, thanks to a giveaway at Organized Mess and Towne and Reese, these cute studded Avery bangles are mine!

I love those sleeves! The umbrella pattern is so pretty too! I might have to try the tupperware lid thing sometime, but unfortunately storms have been accompanied by high winds lately.
