Everybody wore lace, I wore it in the rain

Raining again. This prompted me to switch from the outfit I had planned for EBEW that involved a skirt and suede, to the go-to rain outfit of denim.
I now have a new way to keep my camera Desmond dry in the rain - a tupperwear lid. As long as it's not windy, it works like a perfect little umbrella and kept things pretty dry without impairing camera functions the way plastic bags often do.
I really do hate taking photos in the rain, but I will admit, I like what the bright printed umbrella does for the look.

The lace here is actually pretty subtle - just the trim on the sleeves.

And what is this? A new bit of turquoise jewelry to add to my collection? Oh yes, thanks to a giveaway at Organized Mess and Towne and Reese, these cute studded Avery bangles are mine!

    I love those sleeves! The umbrella pattern is so pretty too! I might have to try the tupperware lid thing sometime, but unfortunately storms have been accompanied by high winds lately.

    I always wondered how you guys take rainy day pictures. I'd love to get one in the rain (in theory. I really actually hate getting any part of my body wet by the rain.) Congrats on your new turquoise addition hehe :) Nice colors, as usual.

    Oh, isn't it just dreadful taking pictures in the rain? Spring in Ohio was just awful and it rained (I'm not kidding) for three weeks straight! I got pretty skilled at taking pictures in the rain, hehe :)
