Summer solstice

Last year, the longest day of the year fell on a completely boring Monday. This year it's a Tuesday. But on June 21st, 2013 it will be on a Friday. Is it too early to start planning a party?

This was one of those evenings when I thought I was going to get rained out. On the way home from work it started to sprinkle. As soon as I got home I raced out, thinking the clouds were moving in and took my photos fast. Then I went in, changed and half an hour later noticed the sun beaming through the windows.
So I put my outfit back on, grabbed Chloe, and took photos again.
Because that is what I do. I started this blog in part to motivate me to take better photos, so some days, I take outfit photos, and then better light comes along and I do it again.

After the second set of photos I had to take Chloe for a walk, and we happened to meet a havanese, who was also named Chloé, after the fashion house. Her owner told me she was obsessed with fashion, hence the name. Too cute. I told her Chloe and I were featured on Miles to Style today, a blog about human and canine fashion.

    I'm hopeless with photography (my boyfriend begrudgingly uses my crappy digital camera) so the before photo looks amazing to me as well! And this outfit, there are no words! The colour of the skirt, those shoes and the pattern of the blouse, so perfect!
