Tied off

It seems I've adopted a new summer styling technique - the tied off button down. Of course there is absolutely nothing new about tying off a button down, except for the fact that I'd never actually done it before this spring. For real.

I guess the images from Lucky Mag and Anthropologie made an impression on my very impressionable mind, and I was quite delighted with the results. The ruffles and the pencil skirt say office, but that little knot screams beach party.

    I'm a sucker for a pretty blouse and yours ranks up there with them! You know re: flats,I went through the same thing. Most outfits look so much better with heels but my heels feel so much better in flats! Dilemma.

    aw your ring is adorable and I LOVE the way the coral shoes and turquoise bag look together. Such cool colors here. I know I say this 9 million times, but your photos are so beautiful. I love the hazy effect in the background. Is that your lens that creates that effect or do you edit them to look like that? I wish I knew how to do that haha. It looks so professional!

    You know you're absolutely right. That one simple knot tied in front takes the office right out of this look. I love it. The swirly ruffles down front + turquoise bag make this such an Anthro/Ruche look. Really pretty.
