Doors Unlocked and Open

Today I accomplished something. Kind of small, but it's a start. To that end, as a reward, I'm buying shoes. Yup, I know, over budget, but if I want to motivate myself to do things by using shoes as 'carrots', then that is what I will do. Photos when they* arrive.  
*Yeah, I ordered two pairs, I wanted to have a backup in case I didn't like one - I just hope I don't love them both, haha.

    I love using clothes as motivation. My budget doesn't love it so much, though! Turns out I'm really motivated if I get clothing as a reward!

    Yay white denim. Love it! You look really good in white jeans, too. I've been wearing mine recently but I honestly feel self conscious about los thighs.

    I'm excited to see your new shoes. I think I've only bought one new pair in the last month...really am craving a pair of JC Litas even though they're ugly/everyone and their brother, mother, and second cousin have them.

    Shoes are a great reward that every girl deserves, no matter how small her accomplishment :) Although while you're waiting for the new pairs to arrive, you have a really lovely pair on your feet. Everything about this looks is absolutely perfect for summer- the pretty silk blouse, immaculate white skinnies and those adorable sandals. Love it!

    I think white jeans look so good during the summer but I can't wear them myself- I get wayyyyy too hot and I'd just end up being miserable. I like the idea of shoes as carrots! Can't wait to see them!

    Hey, I figure shoes are better rewards than food. I often reward myself with ice cream--that gets a little dangerous :) (I don't want to have to "reward" myself with bigger pants!) Anyway, I love the way the bold purple top looks with your white jeans!
