Light as a feather

Over the weekend I had another bridal shower to attend, and I decided to wear the feather dress again. I even wore the orange Seychelles with it again too. But there was no guest cross-over, so it was totally okay.

It was a pretty fun shower, there was a contest to decorate bottles of alcohol for the couple to drink at milestone dates during their first year of marriage. Guess who won?
There was also a sundae bar, which was a perfect dessert for a hot summer day.

    creative shower! Sounds like it was (gasp) fun! (usually showers can be such a bore, just watching someone else open all those presents!)

    This shower looks like so much fun- but then again, I think anything that involves ice cream sundaes (especially in fun cups like the ones in your photos!) is a party :) I love your feather dress, too. I can't blame you for wanting to re-wear it. And the accent pieces, particularly the turquoise glasses and orange sandals, are just gorgeous with it!

    Oh wow a sundae bar... you know I haven't had a sundae all this summer? That's so sad! I love this feather dress - it's perfect for events. I know I wore my lil' floral dress to two wedding events this summer - that's what pretty dresses are for- it would be so sad to only wear them out once or twice.

    I love the print of that dress! And I totally do the same thing. If I have a rockin' outfit I'll try to wear it again. But I always make sure the group of people that will see me are mutually exclusive to the group of people that saw me in the outfit (this is especially the case if I try to wear the same outfit on consecutive or close to consecutive days).

    Even though I stress out a little, I love organizing showers and attending them....
    A Sunday bar sounds like a wonderful idea, but here nobody wants to do outdoors anything because it's so hot all the time :(
