When I was in Italy I kind of had fun spotting the Desigual items seen on women on the street, the bright teal quilted coat, the burgundy floral brocade skirt - very highly recognizable among the typical masses of black.
It was there that I picked up this skirt, and I think this is by far my best styling of it yet (and the first time I haven't paired it with a black top).
I have actually had this outfit in mind ever since the last time I wore the skirt, the striped top, the yellow beads and the orange sandals seemed like the perfect antidote to my previous styling blackouts.

OMGosh such a lovely skirt indeed! And great idea to pair it with this top and the necklace. It is a great outfit and I just love that Chloe!

Beautiful as always. This is kind of an insignificant thing to notice but I loooveeee your nail polish color. Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of the brand and I will definitely have to check it out. I like how you styled the skirt. And you are back in the yacht club, no creepy stalker this time?
ReplyDeleteSeriously: Fantastic outfit. I love the thought that went into it and I can definitely see you roaming italian streets at night (with your camera and cappuccino) in this!
ReplyDeleteLove this! The accessories you paired with the skirt are just perfect.
ReplyDeleteShopping and Spreadsheets
I love the stripes and flowers together. I like all the colors together too.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love that skirt with the white striped top!

Desigual has just popped up on my radar in the past couple of months. I'm impressed that every piece of it I've seen is different.
ReplyDeleteOhh, glad to see you sporting Desigual! There's a store in NYC and I'm intrigued, but confused by some of their colorful designs. I love that this skirt incorporates those great Desigual colors within a versatile scheme.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can relate to the habit of spotting a particular designer on the street. I have Anthro-Tourettes---whenever I see someone wearing anything from Anthro on the street, I shout it out. It's really obnoxious, actually. Your silently-in-your-own-head way is much better.
great outfit!! there's actually a Desigual store opening up in Dallas and I've been wondering what kind of clothes they sell. I love this skirt and can't wait until they open now! :)
ReplyDeletecute & little
I'm In love with the quirky-ness of this outfit. Everything suits you adorablly, even your puppy!!!

that dog is adorable and so are your heels!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous skirt...love how you paired it will all those other patterns. Even your puppy is stylish with the studded leash!
ReplyDeleteI like this styling, too! Not that I don't like the black on black-- then it looks like a dress! I only know Desigual because of your skirt, but maybe they'll become more mainstream. I know I was def like the only person who knew Custo Barcelona when it first came out (Desigual reminds me of Custo).
ReplyDeleteI adore that last picture !
ReplyDeleteYou look marvelous.... and I see you have a photographer ! YAY !
I heard of Desigual about a year ago, probably on line but there is a store here that sells it.
It totally reminds me of Custo Barcelona, only cheaper.
such a cool skirt and i love it with that top
ReplyDeleteyou are looking fine!

No, not really .... fortunately we have a store here in Miami at the Aventura Mall and the clothes are unique, edgy, different. I did a post about them some months ago. I love that place because of their originality, your skirt is an example of that, I love the vivid colors and how you are wearing it with red shoes and striped shirt .... Awesome!
ReplyDeletePS: If you ever come to Miami Check it out, its has one of the best bikini collections also.

You're right, I'm not familiar with the brand. But I LOVE this look on you! Not only is it a great way to style that skirt but I think it's one of my favorite looks of yours so far. Which is saying a lot because I love all your looks :) The striped shirt pairs beautifully with the skirt, and the yellow necklace and orange sandals really tie it all together.
ReplyDeletei love your outfit. Your dog is so adorable. Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

Love that bag so much!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you didn't keep this look "simple," but instead had a lot of fun with it with the print mixing and red shoes. I've never heard of this brand but I"ll keep an eye out!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you styled your outfit! :) Happy Sunday! xx
ReplyDeleteI love Desigual and their clothes are highly recognizable - I like spotting them too. :)
ReplyDeleteI like it how the top is sort of the opposite of the skirt. And your sandals are so nice - especially with the red pattern on the skirt.
Desigual is in Asia too! Love the asymmetric cut!

I am always interested in finding out more on European Brands and Designers just like Desigual! I like the asymetrical hem on the skirt, and the floral pattern gives it a really nice and distinct quality! How's the camera repair going?
