I am however, loving the mix of coral and orange and the tribal print top; also my "lazy gal's fish bone braid" - I only went half way down then gave up.
This isn't a view of the river I see too often, since technically I'm on private property of the condo complex I'm "trespassing" in. I'm not really clear on trespassing laws... I don't think anyone would just come up and ask me if I lived there, and even if someone did, couldn't I just say I was visiting a friend?

P.S. I've added a couple new things to the blog shop, lowered prices, and really, just want to get rid of stuff. Many things are $5, but if you wanted to offer $3, or even $2... So yeah,
The skirt looks great on you and the color is lovely! I haven't been fully sold on the style for myself as well...

Hope you have a great weekend dear! I am all about the lazy girl fish bone braid ;)

So pretty! I'm all about the side pony AND braids so your hair is looking totally to-die! :) Loves.

I love maxis with flats, myself. Wearing heels with maxis seems too formal for me.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of your skirt! I don't know if it's the bright skirt or your accessories, but this outfit seems reminiscent of the late 80's/early 90's style (not sure if you were going for that), but updated to current day.
You look fabulous and I adore your hair!!
ReplyDeleteYou look so sweet together! I really like the laid-back feeling of this outfit; the hair really suits it, too. :D
ReplyDeleteI love that printed top, so nice. -xo
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty shots! Totally worth a trespassing ticket for. I don't work in criminal law, or I'd fill you in ;-) I love the coral and tribal print and you make a "lazy girl fishbone braid look great!"
ReplyDeleteLazy or not, I love the braid.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that tribal print top! I would definitely wear flats with maxi's with the exception with the skirt being too long. If it is, then I wouldn't wear straight-up formal heels but maybe a nice casual sandal wedge, especially in this warm weather. :)

I recently wore a maxi with flats for the first time too... and I'm still unsure if I like it on me or not. I really like this skirt though, maybe you'll like it more with a different pair of flat shoes? Next time!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think it would look really good with the chevron top too!
ReplyDeleteSneaky trespassing! I love it! :) Annnd your puppy is sooo cute!!! x
ReplyDeleteI wore a maxi today with flats as well and actually liked it better than the orginal look with heels. I think the flats are perfect for the skirt and the 'feel' of the outfit today...as well as the 'lazy' braid.

I love the colours and patterns of this outfit- perfect for a summer walk (even if it is on provate property ;)
ReplyDeleteI also think the fishtail braid is so cute- I need to try that! Now off to check out your blog shop!
I think you're totally working the flats with the maxi - seriously, it works! Also, I love that you're technically trespassing...you're a bad ass.

Orange and coral I love! I'm with you on the maxi skirts I have one but for some reason I don't like it very much with flats, but it's also very comfortable so sometimes comfy wins over flattering. =)
ReplyDeleteLove those sunnies lady! Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteAmazing look , I love the skirt and the bag :)
ReplyDeleteKisses!
Gorgeous colors yet again. I really never crave long hair in general, but do every time I see your braid! If I had long hair I would need a tutorial from you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful skirt color, Loving the shirt pattern as well .... I know the feeling of the flats with maxi skirts, I feel a little weird in them maybe BC I am not used to but you really look very cute with that outfit.

ReplyDeleteahh i always get jealous of your hair :)
ReplyDeleteLoving this outfit! I'm actually a huge fan of the cut of the skirt. It seems to be a perfect length to wear everyday.

love the coral and the black and white together!! great combo!! you are looking beautiful as always!! xx oJ
ReplyDeleteI haven't been brave enough to pair a maxi with flats, either, but I think you just may have convinced me! As a fellow not-particularly-tall person, I have many (possibly irrational) fears about clothes that might make me look short. But you look exactly like yourself in these photos, no shorter or taller :) Plus I just love that colour of coral on you, it suits you perfectly.
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
currently i am sooo in love with coral, and it looks so good with black and white!
