The weathermen have been yammering on about things like heat indexes and staying indoors and all kinds of things I'm not the least bit interested in. After a day in my windowless office, I'm quite happy to go out and melt a bit. Chloe wasn't too keen on the idea, I literally had to drag her. I know, I'm such a bad mommy, forcing her to take photos in the heat.
I really liked this church, because it looks french to me, but the only good place for the camera to be was the middle of the road, which was problematic, seeing as cars tend to drive there.
There is a french restaurant across the street called Le Petite Café, and it has a little bench out front; it could have been a cute shot, but again, it was too hard to get me on the bench and the sign all in the frame without the camera being in oncoming traffic.
Chloe liked the grass better, and I liked the light there better, so we relocated. There is a french restaurant across the street called Le Petite Café, and it has a little bench out front; it could have been a cute shot, but again, it was too hard to get me on the bench and the sign all in the frame without the camera being in oncoming traffic.

Oh là là !
ReplyDeleteThis would be a perfect look for wandering the street of Paris, particularly those cherry pumps- they make me smile every time I see them :) But I think the church was a really pretty spot to take photos, too. I just love the bright red doorway! It's too bad it isn't really practical for taking photos, it's really picturesque.
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
loving the stripes and what a cute pup! :)
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Rupert Everett in My Best Friend's Wedding: Love the shoes, the belt...love everything. Love it.

Oh this is definitely a Paris outfit and I absolutely love it! There's definitely a reason why it's sometimes dubbed 'cliche' and that's because it works and looks fabulous all the time. Love that the stripes are sequins! That's a cute detail!

I think Le Petite Cafe is the name of the restaurant in The Aristocats! Which just happens to be my favorite Disney movie.
ReplyDeleteI love the gold belt here! And the picture of you holding Chloe is so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteThat's totally the perfect Parisian outfit - who cares is the Eiffel Tower outfit shot is cliche!

this outfit has a certain je ne sais quoi. just kidding. that's the only french i know so i had to :)
ReplyDeleteEhh sometimes cliches are the best! I have one of those photos and I'm pretty sure I am wearing something horrific ( I was ten). That skirt is fab and it looks so swingy. Chloe definitely looks like she wants back inside, though. My dog wouldn't even go out during the summer-- used to have to carry her out of the house.
ReplyDeletelooking glam with this outfit!

ReplyDeleteSo very chic! And those shoes... You have such a great figure and this outfit shows it off.
ReplyDeleteTrès chic, mon amie! I love that these are all classic pieces, but each one has something special about it (sequins, cherries, metallic, etc.) And Chloe looks very chic and French as well :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this look! The shoes are precious. Had to smile that you look at locations in a way similar to me. I've found some great ones...with logistical problems.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this outfit. I agree that it looks very Parisian. Chloe looks chic as always :)
ReplyDeleteI love EVERYTHING about this outfit!!
