I actually feel a little guilty for not taking outfit photos again, especially given my past tendencies to not let rain, nor snow, nor dead of night stop me from getting out there with my camera and getting my shots; I guess I've just been beaten down by the rain.
The forecast has changed though, the weekend prediction is no longer a wet one, and I will happily return to chasing my sunsets.
For now, this is what I wore last Monday when I had no power, work got canceled, and I went to the beach.

Dress H&M - Sandals Aldo - Sunnies Aldo - Necklace Kohls - Cuff Max & Chloe
Its a lovely dress. I have some "snakeskin" items I'm going to try this month.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I hear ya, girl---the rain really saps my motivation to take my electronics outside. I say you're doing just fine!
ReplyDeleteEh, ya win some you loose some. Yesterday was a rainy one here too and I had several issues with my outfit shots. At least with no power, you still managed to look amazing and get good shots! I love this dress on you!
ReplyDeletePower outages in the summer are much better than in the winter. At least you have the option of wearing cute and flirty dresses and go to the beach. In the winter you're just forced to huddle up to your nearest and dearest, under a blanket, while wearing sweats.
ReplyDeletei love this snakeskin dress so much! it looks fab on you and that cuff is so gorgeous. again, you've accessorized this amazing dress perfectly!

I love that hammered gold cuff! I feel like I see similar styles in silver often, but not usually in gold. I love it! (And, we're going to have one last lovely beautiful sunny weekend, too! I'm headed to the beach!)

I love that the texture on your cuff mimics the snakeskin pattern! You always look so put-together.
ReplyDeleteHey the whole "work getting cancelled and going to the beach" thing was one good thing about the power outage, right? I love the allover snake skin pattern of the dress. I have some snakeskin print shoes, but I think I need more!
ReplyDeleteI love the light in these photos and those Aldo sunglasses are fantastic! I need to wear my hair in a braid some time next week. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and great dress...love the way you styled it with the cuff and necklace. The weather has been really crappy and I was very fortunate not to lose power during Irene but now that the sun has returned I am under the weather...guess that's just how it goes
ReplyDeleteOMG! I need to use a picture of this in a post I'm doing. Email me at wbjewelry at hotmail dot com and I'll tell you more...I'll need a picture without any text on it though.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've got your power back! I still can't believe how you managed to look so cool, collected and fashionable throughout all of that. Love this look for a summer day.

This is a really fun beach look.
ReplyDeletehey i wish it was easier to find some of the items you wear to buy. am i missing something or do you not normally link your items to the place we can find them?
ReplyDeleteChecked out some of your features. Great reading, Lydia. Love the subtle snake print.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it is nice to take a break from taking outfit photos all the time isnt it? :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a very cute outfit for what seems to be your canceled day, loving that cuff!
