No, just me?
Well, this is one such outfit. I thought the open knit of the sweater would look so awesome over the print of this dress, and tried it out when I brought the sweater home last fall. But this is the first time they were ever together out in public.
Worth the wait, or just a wash?

Oooh I like!!! :D Definitely not a wash :)
ReplyDeleteI tried to do that today, I wanted to wear my new purple button down with my bright red sweater...but it looked HORRIBLE so I had to go for Plan B...I was very sad XD

Um, I do that too. Or I will think of the perfect outfit in my head and then not get around to wearing it forever. I def do not think this is a wash--definite win! I love this sweater. It is so subtly sexy. And I love the print of the dress and how it just baaaaarely shows through the sweater. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! funny thing is that I have been wanting to do the exact same thing forever!!! hopefully I will remember to do it soon!!!

I don't think it's a wash at all! I like the combo of knit and print and the way the print shows through just a bit is quite neat. And it's a great fall color palette.

Fabulous outfit and yip, do that often. Usually completely forget by the time I get home what I initially thought the item would pair well with ... love the bag too :-)
ReplyDeleteHa, I do the same thing, but usually it turns out to be for the best, as the two items won't have paired well in reality anyway! Looks like you didn't have such troubles, though. I *love* this top and dress together. Great silhouette.
ReplyDeleteIt's like an awesome optical illusion!
ReplyDeleteha, I do that all the time. I love your skirt
ReplyDeleteI do that too! It's like I think that once I've worn that outfit I can't wear it again so I save it until a day when I'm stuck but it never comes!!
ReplyDeleteI love this look, I think the sweater looks really good over the dress and your bag is so cute!

I love the close-up shot of your outfit. The black open-weave with the print in the back creates a stained glass effect. Love the necklace too! Perfect styling!
