But I suppose things are cliché because they work, and I do love this combination.
Even though the blouse is vintage, the snake print skirt is on trend for this fall and the pumps have a great mix of contemporary flair with a somewhat classic shape. (See a better photo of the shoes here.)
I wonder if this inexpensive 100% poly blouse ever looked this good in it's original decade?
It seems like the sun just does not want to come out at 6 pm these days, and I'm cranking up the ISO, so forgive the grainy photos. Soon it will pitch black at 6 when I get home from work and I'll have to deal with taking outfit photos at a less convenient time.
Not looking forward to the shorter days!

Sexy secretary indeed! I love the simple yet flattering silhouette of this outfit and the T-stap pumps are divine! I'm not enjoying the shorter days either- might have to do early morning shoots at this point!
ReplyDeleteI love that top! I found a similar bow blouse that I live at a store in Canada with no online shipping and my cousin is going to buy it and ship to me so I'm very jealous that you found a thrifted one here!

I love this look. I will never tire of bowtie blouses. BTW, what are some of your favorite consignment/vintage shops in the area, if you don't mind sharing your secrets? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Lyddie, I will have to admit, I am not liking the shorter days that accompany colder weather. I like to take photos in the afternoon/evening, and there just isn't enough sunlight! BAH!
ReplyDeleteI love this look, and I can't believe that top is polyester!
