Even though I wont venture on to the sand with my tripod anymore, and the sun was a bit harsh for taking shots outside of the more shaded areas, I still love heading to the beach for my outfit photos this time of year.
Not to mention the weather was quite lovely for November, I could have easily been tricked into thinking it was actually mid September. (If only, 40 days until Christmas - -what?)

wow I'm green with envy! I've been looking for a fur collar exactly like yours! I almost bought one on ebay but it was a bit pricey, I have two fur collars but they are different from yours and your type is the one I want. =D Cute outfit, I wish I lived near the beach!
ReplyDeleteLove the flipped up cuffs on your jacket -- such a small but cute detail on this outfit!
ReplyDelete(And yes, I agree re: your comment on my blog about Once Upon a Time. How shall they keep the plot moving once there really isn't a mystery curse in play? Maybe it will just take 3 seasons to defeat the curse? Kinda like shows where kids stay in high school for 7 years.)
Congrats Melina!!!! Cute boots and love the magenta socks with them...nice pop of color!

ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous! I with I lived anywhere near a beach!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love these photos. But thinking of 40 degrees makes me chilly - it's 60 here and I'm in a coat...
ReplyDeleteLyddie, you are SMART girl! Take advantage of the peacefulness and weather. You got some great pics and I am ooh la la-ing over that jacket. FUR-rific!!! :D

Whatttt 40 days to Christmas? Don't even say that to me. The fur collar and jacket go amazingly well together-- I thought they were attached until I read your ingredients list. I've been in bare legs for two days now. Rather exciting :) I love your new bracelets, too.
ReplyDeleteThe beach is still serene and beautiful regardless of the cold!

The lighting is beautiful in your shots!
ReplyDeleteI love the winter-time (and fall-time) beach, too. Every year, Beefy and I go to the beach in Michigan in Nov or Dec. I love the snow-covered sand! And parking is free in the winter-time.
What a fabulous jacket. Your socks looks cute peeking out of your boots too. I grew up on the lake and found it was so much more peaceful during the winter months too. Heather
ReplyDeleteI love your jacket and the beach scene! The socks and boots are a fantastic look! It gets too dark here early to get any nice shots anymore.. daylight saving time :(

Even thought you could only use shady spots to take photos they all turned out lovely. That envelope clutch is too dang cute.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

I prefer going places when they are less crowded too and the beach is a great place to take pictures when it's empty. Gives the photos such a great feel. Loving your skirt!

love the pop of color your clutch adds to this outfit. I much prefer the beach on a fall day rather than a hot summer one when i have to deal with kids screaming and teens being well teens. :)

This is super pretty I love it when people 'toughen' up a little floral skirt. I've hidden most of mine away because you know... cold weather. But I might have to get a couple back out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute clutch! I just bought a super cute clutch at TJMaxx too. I was really surprised! :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the fur collar paired with that jacket! I only wish it would cool down a bit here so I could do the same without looking entirely insane. Also I really love how you paired those taller socks with the slouchy boots!
ReplyDeleteAnd again, eeee, I'm SO excited I won!!! Thank youu!! :)
xx Melina
