Horsing around

Cutoffs over tights is something I've seen quite a bit amongst the other style bloggers, and it's something I would not have considered for myself had everyone else not looked so darn cute in them.

But I think this will be a one time only thing. I like my tights with my roomy tweed shorts, but the pairing with the tight denim, it just isn't me. Now I know - leave the cutoffs and tights to the gals with the toothpick thighs.

One thing I do love about this look - the messy side bun. How have I never worn my hair like this before? It's so perfect, much cuter than the side pony, and much faster than the side braid.

As usual I completely forgot about Everybody Everywear, so I don't have on any brightly colored tights. Just brown. But brown is a color, and it's the best I've got because I've not really been wearing tights.     Mm, tights under shorts has always been one of those things I’ve associated with my younger fluro tights & shorts days (don’t judge me ) but I have seen them look really cute on other people.
    I think it looks good on you, but I think the trick is to have really loose-looking cutoffs for the perfect undone, messy, carefree kinda look. You’re certainly not too big to wear them, you have good legs.
    & I love the messy side bun. Ima have to try it out.

    I have also wanted to try the tights/shorts trend, but every time that I put them on with shorter shorts, they look off to me. But, when I see them on others, it looks fab. I don't get it. You look great in these and I am a fan of the horse blouse.

    Even though I think this looks cute and would never have thought you seem uncomfortable, I totally feel you on the tights with cutoffs thing. SO bunchy and in need of constant adjustment and tugging...not worth it to me, either. I have to wear baggy shorts with tights only.
