Last winter I worked around this problem by planning out the weeks outfits and photographing them ahead of time. I may end up doing that again, or, rather than plan ahead, recreate and post at a delay.
So, this is actually what I wore today. The rest of my posts this week will be what I wore last week, in whatever random order I feel like posting them in.
This is a new bauble from Poshlocket, the Monica Ring. I fell in love with it because it is big and bold and mixes silver and gold. I am a fan of mixing metallics, and having a piece that already incorporates both just makes it easier to carry through with the rest of the accessories.
Hence the turquoise bracelet that features gold and the watch in silver, together harmoniously on my opposite wrist.

ReplyDeleteGrr, now I really have to wake up on time in order to take pictures before I go to college. And it's so cold in the mornings.
The extra hour of sleep today was fantastic but the early dark sky is no fun at all.

I love the All-American fall vibe here. It is funny that there is no daylight savings here! But that just means business as usual!

Love the stripes and the gingham! And the turquoise with the silver and gold! And the cliched waist!
ReplyDeleteBrill outfit all in all! :)
I have a gingham shirt just like this that I thrifted and it's become my favorite thing in my closet. Love the way colors pop when I pair it with this shirt.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, kudos for you taking outfit pics in advance. I've learned that the best way for me to be a good blogger is to report things after the fact.
whoa that bag is killer!
ReplyDeleteWhy you so good at clothes? And why you so good at photography? You are awesome!
ReplyDeleteYuck at daylight savings time. Bah. Luckily, both of my jobs have me working odd hours, so I usually have at least a few hours of daylight everyday to get my photos in. I'm sure I'll be doing what you do if I ever get a real job.
I love this outfit. And you're totally killing it with the accessories.
ReplyDeleteDid you venture into town for photos? Also, yeah. Full dark at 5pm. Terrible. First attempt at serious flash photography = dismal failure.
Love that bag and shirt together! And I have outfit photo issues in the afternoon too. Good thing we plan around it for those much needed blog posts. I mean- what are they thinking messing with our pic time?
