November sandals

Today was another unseasonably warm day, yes those are sandals. I thought about wearing booties, but changed my mind when I saw the high of 66°; I see no reason not get as much sandal wear as possible.

Even though it was overcast all day long, that isn't necessarily a bad thing for photos. I feel like a lot of people dismiss the nice even lighting conditions of an overcast day -- just don't accidentally over expose like I always do!

I was trying to remember if last November had any warmer days like this, and I looked at my old outfit posts - I actually wore this dress with bareish legs and arms. Though I'm pretty sure I was colder then.

    I'm so envious of the unseasonable warmth you lucky, lucky East Coasters have been experiencing - it's been wintery on the West Coast since early September! The fact that you've transitioned this dress for fall but are still wearing sandals makes me seriously envious :) And your stacked bracelets add such a lovely sparkle, especially against the gray skies. I'm so with you on even lighting on overcast days, it may not be as joyful as bright sun but it makes taking photos so much easier!

    I was just digging in my archives last night to see what I was wearing around this time last year! I was wondering how much I've changed.

    I like the top worn this way! It looks like an unstructured jacket. I love the colors together, too. They ground this outfit firmly in fall and you can wear the sandals :)

    I love the way this top looks tied above your skirt. I'm with you on overcast days, nice even lighting is much easier to work with through the camera AND Photoshop afterwards to make it LOOK sunny outside ;)
