Honestly I was just playing around with some of the Lightroom presets and thought this split tone process worked well with these photos.
The sweater is black and white and the jeans are a 'natural' hue, so you aren't missing out on anything, promise.
The Rundown
Oh lovely! For some reason it looks like you're out on a Spring day!
ReplyDeleteLove that second to last photograph. This processing almost makes it look sorta infrared-ish.
ReplyDeleteDOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE BLACK OR WHIITEEE danunuhuhn dunuh NUH sorry sorry the inner Michael Jackson within me just came out.. moving along, nothing to see here..
ReplyDeleteAha! I do like the results of your playing around, these are such neat pictures! And black and white is always acceptable, even if it's not the week dedicated to it!

Cool! I like the slightly blue tones and the contrast is really nice, too.
ReplyDeleteHehe, that's a good plan! I'll probably watch tons of the movies I've recorded or maybe a Gilmore Girls marathon ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Lyddie! The pics look great. It's amazing the things camera's can do nowadays. You use to have to pay a photographer to capture all of these looks, but now you can do some on your own. Wishing you a Happy New Year. :)

what a pretty effect! Hope you have a great time ringing in the new year this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOn my senior year in high school I was part of the photography club and remember that all pictures we took were in black and white film... i was as bad as I am today so i dont have any good pictures from the time but my very favorite part was going into the dark room to develop the film.....
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, so pretty!! You need to make that second picture your head shot!!
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever see black and white photos anymore - I like the look!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you could totally be a hair model in that second photo. I'm feeling super jealous that my hair has never once looked that awesome :)
Gorgeous outfit!!! I love the black and white effect, makes it look different to other bloggers (in a very good way)! xx
