This cardigan seemed like a good candidate, since it's a size too big for me, however I might need to try it with a thinner knit, as this felt pretty bulky.
(Excuse the sever wrinkles in my skirt, you know I hate ironing. I totally wore it out of the house like that. Lets pretend it's supposed to have that crinkled look.)
The Rundown

You inspired me to try the knotted shirt look too over the summer. I wore a knotted blouse over a dress once which was so outside my normal comfort zone!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great way to wear a cardi - will be trying it soon!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I am definitely going to try this...especially since so many of my cardis tend to bag at the waist.
ReplyDeleteI like the knotted cardigan! What a great trick and the skirt looks great-wrinkly or not.
ReplyDeleteLove the mix of colors! :)

ReplyDeleteI actually didn't notice the wrinkles in the skirt till I read your post! :P love the colours of the cardi and skirt together :)
ReplyDeleteThe knotted cardigan is a good idea. I never iron anything. It is terrible, but I don't like ironing.
ReplyDeleteI totally thought the skirt was meant to have that crinkled look - you could easily have fooled me! And I love the knotted cardigan idea.

I like this whole look, and the printed snakeskin on the cardigan is done so well. I love that colour on you. -xo
ReplyDeleteI thought that the crinkle look was just how the skirt was supposed to look. Ironed or not it looks very cute on you.
ReplyDeleteHey, your skirt looks great like that! Ironing is a pain in the butt, anyway.

There's just something about shortening the cardi that makes the outfit work. Also the two colors together work well together.
ReplyDeleteReally nice look, love the colour combination!

Good idea- I have a cardigan that looks weird, and I bet I could try knotting it. And I love that nail color! -J
ReplyDeleteThe knotted look is so cute with a cardigan! I would have never thought of it! I think the skirt looks totally fine. I've definitely been known to walk out the house in clothing far more wrinkly than that!
ReplyDelete:)

Ha ha, I often pretend that my clothes are supposed to have that crinkled look- it's not that I hate ironing, it's just that I never, ever do it :) I think your skirt is gorgeous, and the knotted cardigan looks beautiful, even if it didn't feel as comfortable as you'd hoped. I'm going to have to try knotting a cardigan now, I'm really intrigued by the possibility :)
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
The green and navy look perfect together!
ReplyDeleteHaha glad to know there are other iron haters like me who proudly strut around in wrinkly skirts! You look beautiful-I love the colour combination and you have perfected the knotted top!
