Red Pants Reindeer

Clearly I'm having trouble in this harsh winter light, I definitely need to be taking my photos at a different time of day.
Oh how I miss the summer light.
The shortest day of the year is upon us, and I always feel oddly comforted on this day. Because it means everyday from then on will be just a tiny bit longer, and the spring will feel that much closer.

Since I only wear this antler top in December, I figured I'd better get at least a couple wears in. You can check out my other styling of it, for my office Christmas Party, in my guest post over at Alles Mode.

    I don't normally think fedoras look cozy, but this one totally does - is it made of felt?

    What a great top and perfect for the holiday season! I feel the exact same way about the shortest day of the year. And how I miss being able to not have to rush through photos for opportune light! But yours seem to look flawless every time!

    The winter solstice might be my favorite day of the year. Bring back the sun!

    The antler top is so pretty. I think you could wear it other months, with the antlers partially obscured. From certain angles, they just look like designs.

    I too take solace in the fact that the days will gradually be getting longer. It may only be 30 seconds more a day, but by late February it will be visible (and maybe I won't get out of work in pitch blackness by then!)
    This top is so cute. I remember it from last year. Loved it then, love it now.

    love your festive top and cheery red pants. I think Christmas antlers must be a Northeastern thing. I've never seen so many antler printed clothes, antler wrapping papers, antler car decorations. They are everywhere!

    Nooo! Don't talk about spring yet..! It was 70 degrees today! And I want to wear my gloves and coats and tights and I still haven't been able to.. *cries in corner to self*

    Weird weather aside, you look really cute. I really like your reindeer shirt. It's festive without being a light-up ugly holiday sweater (which, not gonna lie, would be nice to have...) and I also like dem red Michael Jackson pants. Aww yiss, you go Lyddie!

    In preparation for starting a style blog of my own, I've been taking outfit photos and so far my photos are woefully under or overexposed. Perhaps I need to spend some more time trying different settings on my new camera. Yup.
