Oh how I miss the summer light.
The shortest day of the year is upon us, and I always feel oddly comforted on this day. Because it means everyday from then on will be just a tiny bit longer, and the spring will feel that much closer.
Since I only wear this antler top in December, I figured I'd better get at least a couple wears in. You can check out my other styling of it, for my office Christmas Party, in my guest post over at Alles Mode.

Haha! I love the littel gold reindeer studs. Soooo cute. I love the red pants too. I need a new pair, mine dont fit me anymore.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute tee, not too crazy, just the right amount of Christmas cheer. It looks great with the red pants.
ReplyDeleteI love this top. It's a great festive piece without screaming 'Christmas' all day long.
ReplyDeleteThe winter solstice might be my favorite day of the year. Bring back the sun!
ReplyDeleteThe antler top is so pretty. I think you could wear it other months, with the antlers partially obscured. From certain angles, they just look like designs.
That antler top is great! And I'm a sucker coloured pants! You look great!

I miss the summer light too, but I want it and some snow!
ReplyDeleteLove that T and your gray booties with the red pants
I too take solace in the fact that the days will gradually be getting longer. It may only be 30 seconds more a day, but by late February it will be visible (and maybe I won't get out of work in pitch blackness by then!)
ReplyDeleteThis top is so cute. I remember it from last year. Loved it then, love it now.
I feel exactly the same way as you about the shortest day.
ReplyDeleteLove the red with the t-shirt. And thank you - your Christmas Card arrived today. What a lovely surprise.
I am ready to start having longer days too. I like your Christmasy outfit.
ReplyDeleteWait until you see my pictures for tomorrow, I hate this time of year for picture taking...I am going to post them anyways! That shirt is so cute...
ReplyDeleteI think I'd continue to try and wear that top for most of winter and just give people a "so what?" look when they asked, haha. Also, congrats on rocking the heck out of that fedora!
ReplyDeletevery cute! i love the fedora and the shirt.

love your festive top and cheery red pants. I think Christmas antlers must be a Northeastern thing. I've never seen so many antler printed clothes, antler wrapping papers, antler car decorations. They are everywhere!
ReplyDeleteLove the title of your post! The antler tee is super cute, similar to my reindeer one!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE that top! Paired with the red it is absolutely perfect!
ReplyDeleteI think that antler top should be worn all year round. No? It's just a really cool design. You look super cute in that hat, girlfriend.
ReplyDeletexo,

Luvvvvv the pants - I have a pair of red pants and I adore styling them :) I especially love how you added the hat! Great outfit post.

Nooo! Don't talk about spring yet..! It was 70 degrees today! And I want to wear my gloves and coats and tights and I still haven't been able to.. *cries in corner to self*
ReplyDeleteWeird weather aside, you look really cute. I really like your reindeer shirt. It's festive without being a light-up ugly holiday sweater (which, not gonna lie, would be nice to have...) and I also like dem red Michael Jackson pants. Aww yiss, you go Lyddie!
I love the hat! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI have a Burberry-look-alike giveaway on my blog...come check it out.

I think you could wear this top through all of fall and winter... and maybe even spring, too. The pale pink makes it versatile! And wow, red and grey look great together. I never knew!
ReplyDeleteIn preparation for starting a style blog of my own, I've been taking outfit photos and so far my photos are woefully under or overexposed. Perhaps I need to spend some more time trying different settings on my new camera. Yup.
ReplyDeleteLove the red pants! You make bright pants look fabulous.
