I purchased these a couple years ago against my better judgement. I saw them, I loved them and then I put them down because I realized how rarely I would wear them. But then Jessica happened to blog about them, and as I'm sure you know, once someone else blogs about something, you want it all the more.
So I went back and got them; they were $20, and I'm currently averaging $10 a wear.

Hottt!! I love this look! I actually had my bridesmaids where black lace fingerless gloves. :)
ReplyDeletefantastic outfit. loving those gloves and boots on you!

You look extremely bad ass!
ReplyDeleteLove this look, everything ties together perfectly and I LOVE those wedges!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually a big fan of fingerless gloves, I'm a smoker so they're ideal (yes I realise it's a disgusting habit...)
xo
Those boots are amazing for only $8! I like to gloves too - they are even more handy now because you can still use your iPhone with them on ;)
ReplyDeleteThose are some serious bad ass gloves!!! I have some wooly ones. The were pretty useful when my workplace didn't have any heat a couple of years ago. I could still type but my hands were relatively warm.
ReplyDeleteThe gloves give your look a little bit of bad ass to them, lol! Love the scarf too.
ReplyDeletecool gloves! i fuckin love leather xxx
ReplyDeletehttp://sydsense.blogspot.com
Haha, they are soooo cool!! But I know what you mean...totally worthless if you think about their purpose. But the cool factor is enough to buy them ;)

Love this rock and roll look! This style really suits you, very cool!
ReplyDeleteI actually like fingerless gloves as I get annoyed when my fingers feel enclosed - most of the time I just keep them in my pocket, right beside my unworn gloves. :)
I love the gloves! They look so cool! Who cares about function!

Rocking Gloves.
ReplyDeleteI got a pair of fingerless gloves for Christmas from a co-worker and have yet to wear them but they sure are cute!
ReplyDeleteThe gloves look great. I only wear regular gloves or mittens, since it is usually too cold or warm here for fingerless ones.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of Cindy Lauper - but on another level: yours are much classier.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, they're not much for function but look darn cute! I have a lace pair purchased for an 80's party. I've one them once again for Halloween. I guess I'm averaging about $10 per wear as well!
ReplyDeleteFINGERLESS GLOVES, YEAAAHHHHH! See?! Aren't they just so pointless and fun, yeah. I'm glad you got them. They are useless, but they look great. And the way you integrated them into your outfit is just flaaaaaawless.
ReplyDeleteI'm digging that scarf and you seem to be having fun with those wedges, eh?
BUT, they are great for iphone use. So most of the hand is warm and you can still use your phone.
ReplyDeleteYou look rocker chic in this outfit. Velvet pants? That just sounds amazing.
xo,
Tracy
I love this edgy look, Lydie! And I just bought a pair of fingerless leather gloves because I have been wanting a pair forever! I know they're worthless, but I can't get enough of them! I love that yours have those spikes/studs!
ReplyDeleteWow sweetie you have a great style. Love the leather jacket!

I can see what you mean about fingerless gloves. I happen to love them (and all gloves for that matter). I have a pair myself that I wear when I want to look/feel like a bad ass. Love the way these look on you! I'm glad that you went back and the feminine scarf is a nice balance.
ReplyDeleteThem gloves are AWESOME! I've got some wool fingerless gloves and I gotta say I think you are wrong they are perfect for like a chilly rainy day when real gloves feel like overkill. Just think of them as your 'driving gloves' and then you can wear them all the time :)
ReplyDeleteYou are Beautiful! Cute look!

Linda from www.moonon.com
you are looking very motorcycle chic here
ReplyDeletelove the fingerless gloves
i got a pair of hand-warmers for Christmas and i love those things!
brett
I like them. Its very 80s Madonna.
ReplyDeleteI find my fingerless gloves (http://wendybrandes.com/blog/2007/09/maid-in-manhattan/) very useful! Definitely keeps me warmer than no gloves but I can still do what I have to do with a phone, keys, etc!
ReplyDeleteI love fingerless gloves. I like them because they keep my hands warm (believe it or not) and I can still write, text, show off my manicure, whatever. :) Yours are super cute!

Those are some HOT gloves! I'm having a GIVEAWAY...stop by if you get a moment :)

Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog! Those gloves are totally bad ass! In a good way ;)
ReplyDeleteSo they may not be the most practical things in the world, but they do up the cool factor, no matter what you're wearing. And sometimes that's more important than warmth :) Those gloves rock!
ReplyDeleteThose gloves are such a badass touch to this look!
ReplyDeleteinstant solution to the iphone touchscreen problem!
ReplyDeleteYou manage to look super chic and tough at the same time and I love it! This look just screams, "Badass!" Yet the leopard scarf keeps it totally you. Go on with your bad self! ;)
ReplyDeletexx Melina
If it's any consolation they look really great!
ReplyDeleteI have some knit fingerless gloves. I really love them and rarely wear them because I'm a bit of a germ-o-phobe and end up taking them off to wash my hands and never putting them back on again since they only serve a fashionable purpose.
Chrysta
You look like a rock star in those gloves!
ReplyDeletewww.living-thesuite-life.blogspot.com
i love this look, totally amazing!
ReplyDeleteActually, in my workplace, they have turned down the thermostat for the past few winters. Faculty have taken to wearing these fingerless gloves in their offices--to type, etc.
ReplyDeleteLyddie, this outfit is FIERCE girl!!! That last pic looks like you're in a movie! You could be a Bond girl! hahaha Love the gloves, jacket, boots and of course scarf! hahaha Wickedly Cool! :D

I love the gloves! They go really well with the boots and jacket, too, although I do understand how useless they are. I had fingerless gloves when I was in high school and they never worked for me.
ReplyDeletelove the gloves! Very rock rebel of you!
