Clearly I'm keeping the spring vibe going with my cotton gingham, and check out this necklace I thrifted for $5 the other day!
In other news, I finally spent some of my holiday gift cards; I had $110 to spend at Amazon and when Endless sent me a 20% off code the other day I finally jumped on two pairs of shoes I'd been coveting forever, both Sam Edelman. A pair of leopard pumps, and a pair of mustard peep toe wedges. Neither fit. They are too long and too narrow. I'm super bummed. The leopard pumps were otherwise perfect. The tones of the browns, the size and ratio of the spots, the hair calf... it was love.
Of course with Endless's 365 day return policy, I can always just hold on to them for the next year and stare at them longingly.
Nevermind, that would probably only make me more sad.

Maybe if we both think and dress spring it will come earlier? Let's hope so. Sorry about the heels-major bummer. Love the gingham blouse though!

What a great necklace! Sorry to hear about the shoes - that's what I don't like about buying shoes online...never know if they will fit properly. Good thing they can be returned!

That sucks about the shoes...but you'll be able to find something else fabulous I'm sure! And the injection of red in this look is really great - so vibrant.

ReplyDeleteAwwww, heartbreak via shoes. :( I'm so sorry that they didn't work out! That's just the most awful thing. Well, at least the return shipping is free. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side, you look fabulous and fresshhh~ I feel like you could model in the Blac House White Market collection or something. So classy, especially with those black tights and wedges and gold accessories.
Your combos are fantastic. So classy, as always!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of either shoe. And hey, you saved some money!
The blouse and skirt are a match made in fashion heaven! I also really love your thrifted necklace, and that great ring. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love how you are styling that great white blazer for winter!! Great look with the dressy necklace matched with teh gingham shirt!
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad about the shoes, Lydia! On the upside, you hit the thrifting jackpot with that necklace. It's so pretty!
ReplyDeletelooking good and I cant believe you scored that necklace for 5 bucks. Thats a steal and a half!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in that red skirt. And although I'm sure the weather was crazy I'm pretty sure art directors spend hundreds to get their models' hair to look like this.
ReplyDeleteSucks about your shoes being the wrong size but I LOVE it when online stores have good return policies.
I'm in love with this jacket. And these colors-- so bold! You could try for brands that come in wide. $110 might get you Cole Haan on sale, or definitely Sofft.
ReplyDeleteLove that blazer, great buy with the necklace!! The wind does look brutal you're very brave to face it for the sake of pictures :)
ReplyDeleteLove the gingham with the red, totally cute!
ReplyDeleteYou look chic as hell in this. I love me some gingham. But I really love how you made it look dressy here.
