P.S. What the heck did blogger do to the word verification? As if one unreadable word wasn't bad enough, now there are two?
I don't want to get all over the top dramatic here, but how am I supposed to comment on blogs when it takes me three tries to prove I'm not a robot?
If you currently have word verification on, why not consider taking it off? For my sake? Blogger has spam detection, it does work, I swear.
ewwww, I hate robot spam boxes. Sometimes I give up on my comment if I can't get it right. I like on Wendy Brandes' blog how she chose the words and you have to type in things like peony or lady gaga. On the plus side, great idea with the scarf, I am such a fan of infinities, I wonder if I have a good one for that. Does this scarf have fringe on the ends?
ReplyDeleteThat is some creative re-purposing with that scarf!
ReplyDeleteYeah, word verification is kind of annoying. I'm not even sure if I have it on my blog - I should probably check, and then get rid of it if I do have it :)
I AM WITH YOU! Jeez, I just want to tell you I like your trousers, why do I need to write a freaking dissertation?????
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the scarf! Very effective and cute!
I love that scarf, super classy. And i like the belt, and boots. So cute. :)
ReplyDeletewhat a classy outfit! this looks fantastic. love the blazer and the leopard scarf!

Amen! It does work! I have Disqus installed, but Blogger always beats it to recognising spam before the comment even reaches Disqus. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the scarf!
Love what you've done with your scarf, the infinity scarf is a super idea and looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the two word verification is soooo annoying.
So clever! I love the "new" scarf!
ReplyDeleteI agree, blogger does have good spam detection. Sometimes I don't comment if it's too difficult...
Such a great idea and the scarf looks beautiful, sweetie. Have a wonderful Thursday morning. xo
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love your leopard infinity scarf! And that blazer is so cute. I am totally on the word verification sucks train - it takes me 3 times as long to comment because I get it wrong every time - argh :)

a) You look like a babe!
ReplyDeleteb) You hair looks extra gorgeous today.
c) Nicely done with DIY scarf!
d) Can you tell me how we remove that stupid word verification thing? I don't want people to have to go through that to leave a comment.
Thanks hot stepper!
xoxo

Love the outfit, yayy for DIYing the scarf, it looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteand yes...I hate that stupid spam projection...it's really annoying

Love the 'new' scarf. That's such a simple solution that I usually forget exists.
ReplyDeleteAlso I was pretty irritated about the new Captcha too. But did you read about how they are using it to help translate old scanned documents? I thought that was pretty cool. (Click the little ? next time you have to type one.)
I still think most bloggers should just turn it off though.
love the scarf x
ReplyDeleteOkay I am in LOVE with this outfit. That blazer is fantastic. Must. Check out. GAP. LOL! You look great!

I did the same thing with one of my scarves. It is an easy DIY, and will be easy to undo if I get tired of circle scarves.
ReplyDeleteyour newish scarf looks great. You are one clever bunny. Couldnt agree more about the whole word verification thing. Seriously if you are concerned with spammers then just approve your comments before they are published.
ReplyDeleteWow, great idea and I love the color combo! And I am removing my word verification right now. Thanks for pointing that out...it is irritating.
ReplyDeletewww.wayoutsidelookingin.blogspot.com
You look absolutely gorgeous!!! I am obsessed with leopard prints so I love your scarf..also own three :D Those boots are gorgeous as well! ANd that word verification is driven me crazy!! I have a giveaway on my blog so feel free to join it:)

Ugh, I recently noticed that, whyyyy two words? I love your hair in this post, it makes me miss my long hair!
ReplyDeleteI had a captcha give me Hebrew once. I've always wondered if there's someone out there that could have correctly entered it in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea about the scarf! And agree about the word verification...it pisses me off so bad I literally just tweeted about it lol
ReplyDeleteOMG I know. Commenting today has been so difficult. I got one that was like, "colonial $2000." WTF? I agree...everyone, please, PLEASE turn it off. We're going crazy.
ReplyDeleteYou're so talented, sewing the scarves together. It was probably super easy, but it sounds like a daunting task to this girl.
I agree 100% on the word verification bit! I hate that!!
ReplyDeleteLove your scarf too btw
I hate the new verification, I actually skipped commenting on some blogs today because I couldn't get one of the two words right {UGH!}...On a happier note, love the scarf and what a great idea to sew it yourself!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one being driven insane by the new word verification on blogger! I'm bad at reading those words at the best of times, but when they put an ink blot on top of it, it's hopeless. Seriously. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant job with your infinity scarf, by the way - I never would have thought to just sew the ends of another scarf together, but it worked beautifull here. So envious of the sunny weather in these photos, too!
xox,
Cee
You look so lovely in these photos :) And your HAIR! WHAT?! So long and gorgeous. Makes me wish I hadn't cut mine. Love your scarf idea..I should try that out for myself!
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought it was just me with the CAPTCHA. I hate it to begin with, and now the chances of me commenting on blogs with it are about 1%, even if I love and regularly follow the blog. It is just too damn annoying. I just can't keep typing words over and over. Just can't. I might actually put this into a post and tell people I won't comment any more because of it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen these boots on you in forever! How are they treating your toes? Smart idea to sew the scarf together. I want a chiffon leopard scarf so much, but they're all so expensive. I may just go to the fabric store :)
What a great idea of converting your scarf into an infinity scarf! It looks fantastic in this outfit. You are so crafty :)
ReplyDeletewww.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
So smart...I have been looking for a leopard infinity scarf forever and now the first thing I am going to do when I get home is sew the two ends of my regular leopard scarf together...genius!! Love the "new" scarf with the classic shirt and blazer!
ReplyDeletethat scarf is lovely <3
ReplyDeleteI've become a fan of infinity scarves myself. Leopard adds a whole other level of fashion to an outfit!
ReplyDeletelmao omg I hat captchas!!!
Blogger spam protection is a total nuisance!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
Love your look, and the leapard touches are fantastic!
Hope you have a lovely weekend ahead!
Anna
Love the scarf! Nothing like a spot of leopard to add a bit of spice to an outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love the scarf! I actually thought about making an infinity scarf - from a vintage sweater I shrunk : ( But I haven't quite figured out how I'd "serge" the ends after snipping it. I love the print so I'd hate just to get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteps I just got rid of word verification : )
ReplyDeleteLove your jewelery!

I hate word verification.
ReplyDeleteGood idea. I really like the look of an infinity scarf.

Yes, I agree 100%--that new word verification is making me crazy!! I love how you remade your leopard scarf, what a smart idea!
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm with you- I can never read the word verifications and now they're even harder! I love your DIY infinity scarf and those boots are beautiful!
ReplyDelete1. I'm having major hair envy! so beautiful
ReplyDelete2. I JUST tweeted about their stupid captchas!!! So horrible and annoying, it just changed today or yesterday it seems. blargh!! I don't know why people don't get rid of them, makes it so hard and impossible to leave a comment.
great look! love the leopard print scarf. agree on the word verification! i wish more people took it out, i've taken mine out long long ago. sigh
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad u mentioned the word verfication because I thought it may just be my aged eyes playing ricks. Love your infinity scarf and of course the entire outfit.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best animal print scarves I've ever seen. The color of the blouse is great ,too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, that's seriously the greatest idea ever... sewing two ends of a scarf together to make an infinity scarf. Why didn't I.
ReplyDeleteYou rock.
you are so right. i am taking off my word verification, this is getting ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteI like this look and your hair is just spectacular. Did you change shampoos ? using another hair product? it always looked beautiful but lately its just - amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a look I would wear especially the leopard scarf. Lovely!! :)
ReplyDeleteps. I didn't know that was happening until another blogger told me. I removed the word verification at that moment.
That leopard looks great against that burnt orange. I just took word captcha off. It's a pain in the arse! LOL

I never get those codes right, but you sure got this look right. I love the new scarf!
