Paisley scarf necklace

Everyone knows that the problem with adorable vintage square silk scarfs is that you often end up looking like an airline stewardess when you tie them around your neck.

So that leaves you with a few options; you can tie it on your bag, stuff it artfully in a pocket, or try to make it look like a necklace. I like to try and make it look like a necklace.

    Great idea! I bought one just because I loved the print but I can never find the right way to wear it...I'll try this look, then.

    When I wear scarves this way, I call it "cowboy style." "Necklace style" sounds way more chic.

    Aww, it looks great. The scarf is lovely, and you do not look like a stewardess at all. I've got a couple of those types of scarves, I've had very little luck in the 'make it look like a necklace' department.

    I agree, silk scarves are tricky to style--I don't wear them very often for that reason! I love how you tied yours though, I ought to do that style more often--it's very chic but definitely not stewardess-y :)
