Neon + Neutral

These bright pink pants usually get me a few comments throughout the day; note that I said comments and not compliments, because the reaction is more along the lines of "Wow, those are some very pink pants you are wearing."

Which probably translates to: "I think you are nuts."

I love them though, and my sequined stripes, and my new white Cynthia Rowely Blazer from TJ Maxx that Christine tracked down for me.

    Ooh, I love those pants! I still wish I had bought them from Old Navy last year.

    I love when people state the obvious about my clothes - I get a lot of "That's a bright sweater" whenever I wear my neon yellow sweater. And like you said, it usually means the speaker thinks I'm crazy for wearing it :)

    A comment without any adjectives- other than a color.

    Ah yes, comments. I know them well. I still want to find pink pants... and red pants, and blue pants. I just really want some colorful pants, but I feel as if it is just not meant to be. The collar on this blazer is so sharp! White is my absolute favorite color for a blazer. The first blazer I ever had was white, and I wore it until it was more grey. I might actually still have the thing. I should look.

    Love those pants. In my experience too, it's so funny how many adults have a hard time filtering their reactions to things I wear...it's not offensive, just interesting. I love color and usually can't go one day without wearing something bright.

    I wore an outfit that was very bold and I got the most interesting comments from, "wow, look at you!" to "that's one helluva an outfit!" hahahaha. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it.
