Seafoam green aka mint green goes with everything.
As I stared in to my closet I realized that I could choose yellow or rust, purple print or breton stripes, leopard or zebra, fuchsia, coral, navy, grey -- no matter what I picked up everything just seemed to compliment these jeans perfectly. The new neutral, perhaps?
Go on and buy them, they are less than $50 at Kohls.

Amen sister! I have these same jeans and think the same thing! This is just another great example and I love the hat!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh shiz. Leopard and mint? That is definitely territory I'm going to have to venture into (I didn't even think of it before you mentioned it!).
ReplyDeleteThough I love, love, love the mint and pink/fuchsia combo! Paired with your gorgeous photo locale you're like the quintessential picture of Spring here! So pretty!
I think it's the hat. And the Tucker top. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI also saw a similar colored pair of jeans yesterday, and at first I hesitated, but then I tried it on, and I really liked it. but I couldn't decide to buy it, so I left it there, but I think I'll go back to the store today!
ReplyDeletethe outfit looks wonderful together with the bright blouse!

If they came in shorts form I would totally buy them. Jeans make me feel too unfree. Shorts make me feel partially free. But I am glad to hear that for you, they go with everything! It kind of seems like they would. It's such a perfect color!
ReplyDeleteI love love how you have a pink shirt and then a pink belt, too. Like I really like that. It's just.. good. :D Your seafoam bracelet matches perfectly, too!
Damn, I seriously need to get me to a Kohls!!!!

Great jeans! I love that you paired them with a punchy bright top, and that camel blazer is fantastic - I've been looking for one like it for ages! And, totally random, but I love the background/location of your pics, it looks so pretty there!
ReplyDeleteI love how you love seafoam. You know what colors that you like and you rock them in new ways all the time. Suite!

So look so chic and so fly! =D I like sea foam hues but you're definitely the queen of turquoise and sea foam when it comes to remixing those colors. =)
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought that mint/seafoam goes w/everything. But as I could picture the colors you listed, you're right....it does. Whodathunkit?!

What a nice post
ReplyDeleteSeafoam would be awesome as the new neutral. I don't have anything... yet, but I'd love to mix it into my closet. I love that you've already gotten out all the warm weather accessories-- straw hat, sandals, canvas bag. I am still missing all of my sandals and need to hunt them down next weekend. 85 this week and I'm still going to be wearing ballets. Oh well :(
ReplyDeleteI'm so anti-mint green, it's not even funny, but this post did make me consider a seafoam skirt this weekend. If it had fit, I would have definitely worn it - you're right, it's practically a neutral!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with those colored jeans! Seriously, and that blouse is just lovely!
