It probably sounds silly to say, but I've had this outfit in my head since last September and it took me seven months to finally wear it.
The skirt was very well received at work; which I thought was interesting because it's not something I'd normally put together for the office.
Though I'm glad it finally did come together!

I would've never paired Chambray with a pleated skirt, but it looks great! I may duplicate your outfit this week :)

So pretty and feminine! The ruffles really add something to a simple chambray.
ReplyDeleteI've had similar situations with outfits that I really want to wear, but the occasion never presents itself. Not silly at all!

chambray and pleats - what a cute combo! You look so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThat's some heavy planning for an outfit! ;) It's successful though, definitely. I dig the soft pleats of your skirt and how you tied your chambray top. Lots of fun textures in this outfit right here and I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your colleagues liked the skirt, because it looks great on you.
ReplyDeletegreat retro outfit, like your style :->

ReplyDeletePleats and chambray make a wonderful, and perfectly work-appropriate, combination! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the airy vibe of this outfit and its totally office appropriate, without be stuffy. Very cute indeed. I think all of the bloggers need to move closer to each other. That would be the best!

ReplyDeleteI believe you.... i take forever to make outfits happen.
ReplyDeleteI like this and am glad it was well received at the office, if i recall correctly they are, as we say i n SPanish "sin gracia" which kind of means "without grace" so they don't really appreciate your outfts.
Your skirt is darling! I really need to try this whole knotting the chambray shirt thing...you pull it off so well!
ReplyDeleteLove the pleats! I think this outfit looks great, glad we finally got to see it!

I think this is a great combination--you know how much I love me a knotted shirt!
ReplyDeleteI love pleated skirts but they looks os weird on me that I gave my pink one to Nnenna. I'm still on the hunt for a chambray shirt, too. I keep telling myself that one day it will come.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that you're wearing double pleats! Awesome! I like double anything, especially leopard.
Love your skirt, it looks so nice with your chambray shirt and bag!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is so beautiful and definitely a perfect shade of pink for spring. Lovely!

I like this! I have to try it!
ReplyDeletelove that skirt! I haven't worn skirts in forever for some reason..?
ReplyDeleteI too have quite a few outfits that I've been thinking about for months. Usually the reason I haven't worn them yet is that I'm waiting for the perfect weather (not too hot, not too cold), and sometimes for that perfect weather to coincide with a weekend so we can drive to a fun location for photos!
ReplyDeletethis combination is just so PRETTY with the flowyness of the skirt and light shoes!

I agree that pleats are a career smart look. The movement of the skirt is a welcomed change to all of the structured outfit we see and wear everyday.
