While it certainly does not seem like it, it was a whole year ago that I went on my
very first blogger meetup, and having the most fun evening out in a long time.
Over the year I've meet with these girls again, met new ones,
traveled to New York with some, gotten help with some
shopping feats, and made some wonderful new friends.
This past weekend I once again got together with
Amber,
Bethany,
Christine,
Courtney and
Megan for an afternoon-turned-evening of eating, shopping, and photo taking.
This was Courtney's last meetup with us as a Connecticut resident, as she is heading home to Canada at the end of the month; we will definitely miss her at our next outing!
I love how well coordinated everyone is, and clearly completely on top of the trends. We are all wearing blue, there are three yellow belts among us, lots of prints (Jason Wu for Target on Amber and Meg), chiffon, gladiator sandals... the woman working at the restaurant we went to,
La Petie France Café, complimented our impeccable style. I agree. We are pretty fabulous.
I really enjoyed my lunch of a savory crepé and macarons... I need to find somewhere I can get good crepés around here (or I'll have to start driving to West Hartford more often...)
After lunch we headed out to do some shopping at Charming Charlie and Second Time Around, then we took some outfit photos (not nearly as many as I would have liked, haha, but I can spend an hour just taking my own some days...)

After Amber and Bethany headed out, the remaining four of us decided we weren't quite ready to call it a day and navigated our way to Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx. We all went home with something, and Meg basically made the
score of a lifetime at Nordstrom Rack. (Lucky!)
We headed out to dinner (finally had a little wine), and eventually had to say our good nights and good byes.
Pretty much the best way to spend a Satruday, I think.
Be sure and check out everyone Else's posts!
