JC Penney recently asked me to go on a little shopping mission, to find tribal and tropical themed pieces for my summer wardrobe.
They provided me with a $100 gift card, and I must say, I was impressed by how low most of the prices were!
Also, the selection was huge and I went into the dressing room with at least 30 items in hand.
Prior to this shopping trip, I hadn't been in JC Penney in years, but now that I know what great affordable items are in there, I will definitely be back again soon!
I did try really hard not to go over the $100 budget, but there was one dress that I thought was $15 which turned out to be $22 when I got to the register. If I had a dollar every time sales clerk told me "Oh... that was in the wrong place." I'd be a millionaire. But I go it anyway.
So here are some instagrams of my shopping trip, and you will get to see all my purchases when I style them this week.

Those tribal wedges are adorable! But I am not a huge fan of JC Penney after some of their ad campaigns recently.

Wow, prices are so great in the US. I love all of those pieces - especially the last dress. I got a similar tribal print dress last summer and have worn it to death. It's just been so versatile! x
ReplyDeleteGreat strategy for JCPenney-reaching out to fashion bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI know I will always find SOMETHING in JCPenney but I haven't purchased anything from them in a while.
I love those wedges you instagrammed! They're gorgeous.
You found some cool stuff! We don't have JC Penney in Canada just hear news that they kept Ellen Degeneres as their spokeswoman which is very awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice day !! You are lucky :)
