Of course I've had the post title picked out for such an occasion for years. It's from that Frou Frou song.
Also, yesterday I bought tickets to the Lucky FABB conference! I'll be in NYC for part of fashion week for the very first time this year! Who else is going?

People that take 100% second handed items and work them like nobody's business (i.e. you) are my idols.
ReplyDeleteOoh I love this!! Yay for it all being secondhand, ha ha :D

I'm moving to NYC in a couple weeks and am totally freaking out about it. So I guess I'll be there, but not for the reason you were talking about! But have fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd ya look great.
Ooh I love Frou Frou. And also your look--what a cute skirt! I'm so jealous that you're going to Lucky FABB. Every year I tell myself I'm going to go to one of those (FABB or IFB or TX Style Conf, or SOMETHING!!) but I suppose the year I change careers and am trying to find a job isn't quite the best one. Oh well. Someday, I'll be there!!
ReplyDeleteHa! You know you're a blogger when you've had post titles planned for years, with no post to go with them! (I have tons of them.) That skirt was an excellent thrifting score.
ReplyDeleteOk first of all, BIG PROPS for the Frou Frou reference. I LOVE them!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hey girl, if somebody's throwaways look so good, what's the problem? :)

ReplyDeleteLove the little sneak peak of the Kate Spade iPhone case. Such a cute shot.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! All secondhand! There's an awesome thing to have reached. And I would have neeeever guessed they were just people's old hand me downs. ;)
ReplyDeletePlus, I approve of the Frou Frou song.
I'm going to look into that conference! I hadn't even heard about it but sounds like fun! Great skirt and bag, too!

I'm so impressed that all of your items are secondhand! I never have the patience to dig for treasures at a thrift store.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic time at the conference!
Oh, that skirt is fab! Secondhand or not.
ReplyDelete*standing ovation*
ReplyDeleteYay for clothes others don't wear any more! Of course everything looks brand new and way cool on you :)
I like to think of clothes as sometimes taking a little while to get to their forever homes; you know, maybe not getting it right the first time.
..and ANOTHER fabulous blouse. You are the queen of amazing blouses!

Oh man, I've always wanted to do an all secondhand outfit... problem is I don't have enough things! I feel like I've only recently gotten to be a better thrift and consignment store shopper-- getting things that I'll actually wear instead of ones that I like but aren't practical or require too many alterations to work.
ReplyDeletelove the pattern on that skirt! isn't it great when everything you're wearing is pretty much thrifted?!
ReplyDeletehttp://spinning-threads.blogspot.com
