But I did pick up a few things at my favorite thrift store, and spent a whole three dollars and fifty cents. One of those things is a skirt from J.Crew. Another is a dress from Banana Republic. (That doesn't make up for it though, I really wanted that striped skirt.)

It makes me so happy every time you wear that starfish cuff! I just love it, and should probably buy one for myself already.
ReplyDeleteAlso, your hair looks amazing! Do you straighten it, or is it just naturally that awesome?
Ohhhh, too bad you didn't get what you wanted! This nautical GAP dress is fab and love those platforms!

Wait... 3.50 for 2 items ???!!!
ReplyDeleteI need to thrift with you!
Sorry about the bad shopping luck. Why is it that when you're looking for something specific you never find it, but when you're just browsing and not wanting to buy they have everything you want! At least that happens to me a lot. Anyway, I do like that striped dress!
ReplyDeleteYou always, always look perfect!!
ReplyDeleteThat's sucks about the bad shopping luck - I hate it when that happens. But it seems like you did alright at the thrift shops (love that dress), so that's something right?

I love that starfish cuff! Sorry to hear the items you wanted were sold out at the outlet, it's always a hit/miss occasion when I go.
ReplyDeleteFabulous finds! I love this look! I'm seriously obsessed with your starfish cuff xx
ReplyDeleteAw man. Boo on the striped skirt, but yay on the wallet! It's funny because we are both wearing navy and white stripes today. LOL
ReplyDeleteI seriously have to start thrifting with you. I never find name brand stuff for so cheap.

You have the best nautical outfits! You always look crisp and summery. Love the white blazer with the striped dress.
ReplyDeleteYou have such effortlessly classy outfits and the best settings, EVER.
ReplyDeleteI have never bought anything from J.Crew. Maybe one day!
I always have to remind myself to only buy things at outlets that I truly like, instead of just liking the price. good for you for holding strong and finding some great pieces thrifting. I just did my first thrifting excursion and found this great blazer that I'm sure belonged in somebody's grandma's closet before mine but I still love it - just have to snip out the shoulder pads ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat nautical inspired outfit! :) Your dress is sexy. Love the bracelet! :)

I always love nautical stripes.
ReplyDeleteI long for a starfish cuff like yours, but my stoopid second grader skinny wrists won't make it work :(
ReplyDeleteI've got to work my thrifted white blazer more into my wardrobe; yours looks so fresh and crisp with the blue stripes.
Yay for thrift stores!
I hate shopping disappointments like that, but this dress looks amazing on you, and that cuff is so fun and original!
ReplyDeletei need to go thrifting with you! you really find the most amazing pieces -- this is such a great look, you look gorgeous! xo

Awe, darn! Well, at least you got your money back. At least they weren't super buttmunches about it or anything. And that's good that you spent three dollars and fifty cents at least. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou and your stripes! I love love that dress. I kind of need a simple striped dress. And that necklace of yours is very nice and I'm wondering if I have seen it before or not... I seem to have a thing with all the gold chain like pieces of jewelry you wear, hahaha.
Such a fun nautical look! I really love the blazer!!
ReplyDeleteYay your thrift store came through for you! Almost... love that cuff, it's so pretty!
