July.
I think I should make a must-do list for this summer, so that when September comes around (always sooner than I ever imagine) I won't think back and lament the things I didn't get around to doing.
At the top of the list: Ride a roller coaster, have cocktails at a roof top bar (in a cute cocktail dress), get out the wide angle lens and photograph one really good sunset, spend a long weekend at a touristy beach.
What is on your must-do list this summer?

This is so cute... I would have never paired a top like this with a pencil skirt but it looks awesome! And, what an awesome mani. Love the metallic.
ReplyDeletePurple, navy and white is such a great color combo. My summer to do list includes some beach time, pool time, fun boat rides, and lots of seafood:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm totally adding ride a roller coaster to my list now, because that just sounds fun.

I'm going to stay away from the roller coasters (me = huge weenie) but I'd love to have a rooftop cocktail or two. Also on my summer to-do list: make some homemade ice cream!
ReplyDeleteOh man I have a feeling this summer is really going to get away from me. With three kids, work and a wedding to plan, I am now deathly afraid of lists. But rollercoasters and rooftop cocktails do sound pretty amazing. I love your gingham blouse Lydia! And the hat really makes the outfit in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteI adore the manicure!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your nails! And I think tomorrow I'll be wearing my blue skirt with my purple gingham shirt! Thanks for the inspiration :)
ReplyDeletesuch a cool a breeze outfit for the Summer, love your nails too and your necklace.=D
ReplyDeletesuch a cute outfit! and cocktails on a rooftop bar sounds fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, your nails are so cool. Is that silver and gold? I like very much. And your tiny birdy necklace is so cute. I have a thing for tiny birdies right now.
ReplyDeleteYour summer goals sound lovely. I don't really have any but to have a worry-free birthday and fourth of july weekend. And finish my class with an A, which I think I can do. :)
Love the idea of cocktails on a rooftop bar- that would be so fun! Also, love your nails! :D
ReplyDeletelove the mani ... looks great ... as I love that sweet little necklace too!!

Fabulous. I've been considering a button down gingham top to add to my wardrobe. Now that I've seen it with a pencil skirt, it moves up on the priority list.

I adore the deep blues and purples in this! I love the idea of a lightweight pencil skirt, maybe that will go on my summer to-do list.
ReplyDeleteThough at the top of my list is: Not leave my New England vacation without having a truly satisfying lobster roll (last time I was home I had the MOST disappointing one)! :)
love the gingham

I love this outfit - the purple pencil skirt rocks.
ReplyDeleteI would also love cocktails in a cute dress on a rooftop bar but I don't think I should set my heart on it because it may not happen :) I'm glad it's a must for you!

Good for you on making this to-do list. I've been wanting to practice my photography skills with a sunset in a touristic area of Panama called the Causeway, but I haven't got around to it yet.. Love your bird necklace btw, its adorable ;)

I love roller coasters even though it's been a while for me...When we went to Universal Studios in Singapore it was so empty that my sister and I went on the same roller coaster ride like five times haha. One of my "must do" is going to a flea market...although the rooftop bar sounds great too!!
ReplyDeleteI just thrifted a J.Crew gingham shirt in gray (I couldn't believe it) and can't wait to try it like your great look with a pencil skirt and wide belt.
ReplyDeleteI love the little bird necklace! Your J.Crew shirts are definitely some of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteAnd we can totally go to a rooftop bar and have overpriced cocktails sometime, haha.
