It says: Branford River Gateway Scenic Overlook and Recreation Area.
This is a little grassy area with a bench, a mini pier (and I mean mini. It's like 10 feet long) and enough parking for maybe six cars.
I find that sign to be hilarious.

ReplyDeleteLove the pairing of green and red, and your hat is so lovely!
That is funny--I like the "recreation area" part. Well I suppose you're doing some recreational photography... I love this pretty combination with the olive green shirt and red dress!
ReplyDeleteThe blue nail polish is really eye catching.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress and the way you layered it is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha that sign sure is an exageration then...lol. You look gooorgeous as always. I really love how the olive green goes with the floral dress. And you always look fantastic in hats!

That dress is gorgeous and so are you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little hideaway! Was it crowded? I would wonder if people who know about the spot cram as many people as possible in their cars to be lucky enough to grab one of the six parking spots.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress, hat and photos as usual Lydia!
The scenic area worked for you :)
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture - you wear hats so well.

Even though the actual place is not as what it seemed on the sign, it definitely worked as a backdrop for your outfit posts. What a pretty place (but tiny?). I love the red dress paired with the button down shirt and hat!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful photo op, even if it is a bit underwhelming. You can't tell it from here :P
ReplyDeleteWow to the red flowers and green shirt!

I am completely in love with this color pairing! I feel like I always see lighter greens and pinks paired together in the summer, but the deeper tones of these pieces have me swooning!
